Close minded people were already calling the guy 'gay' for tying gele. Dude would make a fortune if he could travel to America. The Nigerian community there would gladly patronize him weekly. |

chukzyfcbb:You are correct. TRAINING IS EDUCATION. VOCATIONAL or ACADEMIC education still serves the same purpose. |

chukzyfcbb:Thank you for educating that idiot. Those are the type that claim they're educated but don't know the primary meaning of education. They are the reason why they say Nigerian graduates are not employable. |

chukzyfcbb:Spot on! Education in Nigeria is all about going to a higher institution. Intelligence is all about going to the University and getting a good grade. Formal education is good but not the ultimate. Not everyone should go to a university. We need to upgrade our vocational schools and talent training centres. |

chukzyfcbb:You are just shouting for no cause. The fact that you don't value education doesn't mean you should spew out thrash here. What is training? Like I said, training is the act of learning a skill, Exercise or moral. One can be a trained doctor or an educated doctor A trained doctor in the sense that he learnt the skill of practising by being trained under a practising doctor and not an educated doctor in the sense that no intellectual part of the training is known. A trained nurse is someone who went to learn the professional of Nursing from a practising nurse. Are they regarded as qualified nurse anywhere? While an educated and qualified Nurse is someone who went to the school, not just to be trained alone, but to understands and know the profession in dept and become qualified. From your quote, "education is about opening ones mind and not just filling their head" -George Bush. don't you see you have shot yourself in the leg and backing up my point in my definition below? "Training is the act of teaching or learning a particular skill, exercise or moral. While Education adds intellect to learning skills, exercise or moral, typically in a school or university". Where is the site of the intellect, isn't it the mind? |
