You don't need the printout for anything, unless you want to do a follow up through someone. That's when u could be required to provide the printout. But if it's a normal process, do not bother yourself about it.

Unconfirmed info has it that only 700 applicants are needed (200 senior, 500 junior). As for the selection process, based on political affiliations and permutations, based on logistics, you can guess the rest!
However, keep hope alive; you never can tell!
