FG Appoints Abdul-Akaba Sumaila as new sole administrator of Ajaokuta steel complex

The Minister of Mines and Steel Development, Kayode Fayemi, has announced the appointment of Engr. Abdul-Akaba Sumaila, as the Acting Sole Administrator of the Ajaokuta Steel Complex.
The appointment was announced via a statement signed by Special Assistant on Media to the Minister of Mines and Steel Development. Olayinka Oyebode on Tuesday.
Sumaila replaces Joseph Isah, who retired from the civil service last month, having attained the mandatory 35 years in service.
The new administrator, Sumaila is a trained engineer and project manager. He's a fellow of the Nigerian Society of Engineers. He was until his appointment, a Senior Advisor, Government Relations with Shell Petroleum Development Company. He holds a Bachelor of Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, from the University of Ilorin, Ilorin, Nigeria and a Masters in Business Administration (MBA) from Business School Netherlands (BSN).
The appointment takes immediate effect.

He's a middle-beltan, an Ebira man, to be specific, not a core Northerner.

Another vista for wailing has been unveiled.

But on a serious, why north again? If northerners have been ministers of petroleum, GMDs of NNPC, past and present, why can't a south west, east or SS person hold the head of a northern corporation like the steel company?

All this one corner appointments like one corner dance .

If his appointment will revive that sector, then it is cool.

The northerners are taking over every sector in this country it such a terrible phenomenon.

Do you think we can do anything about this? Literally no, we can't but there is always a way out of every problem.

Our power is in our vote that means we(west,south etc)
Should come together and vote out the northerners from the presidential seat come 2019.

Let's all embrace a positive change unlike the one promised by this present administration.
