If you buy OEM Toyota shocks or reputable aftermarket shocks like KYB, you can't go wrong I've changed shocks to kyb and people have used for 2 years without complaining. It's all about how you take care of your car in the end. Of you treat your car right it will serve you. But in terms of reliability and sales the Japanese are number 1. I don't like Japanese cars except for Infiniti, but the market in which we find ourselves is a major deciding factor. Buying a 2006 corolla for 2 million + wasn't what I wanted, but after thinking of long term reliability and tech support I went for the Toyota

The 407 is European, Pls do not compare that to the American corolla. If you are Loooking for a fair comparison take the European avensis. The European avensis also comes with leather seats, power seats, navigation, steering controls for radio and air conditioning, it has everything the 407 has, both are mid sized sedans and are of equal match. If you are Loool for a Peugeot to compare the Corolla with you can try the 307. They are in the ssme category. And if you have to compare pls compare with European model also not the American corolla. I'm saying this because my almera (European) has more options and safety features than the American corolla i just got for ×2 of the price of the Corolla I also prefer my almera to the Corolla in terms of options and safety features but this is Nigeria and a greater percentage of people love Toyota. I never said a ninth generation Corolla was better than the 407.pls read and try to assimilate before you reply. I know its hard but pls try to. I said the avensis/Aurion / camry are better cars than the 407. Because they are in the same category. Sales figures alone proves this. If the 407 is such a blockbuster as you claim how come in European markets the avensis out sold it?
