Many Nigerians especially Imolites were angered after governor Rochas Okorocha unveiled a giant statue of South Africa’s President Jacob Zuma in Owerri, Imo state to honour him. ‪Apparently there are also statues of Rochas Okorocha, Ellen Johnson Sirleaf and Ghana president Nana Akufo-Addo and 5 others erected at the Heroes Villa, Ikemba Ojukwu centre, Owerri.

According to reports gathered from the governor's media aides, Rochas Okorocha has gone beyond African level and is now operating on a continental level.

Let's just allow him to continue with this madness till 2019 when his tenure will end. It will only require few able bodied men with sledgehammer, and all these nonsense will turn to rubbles. Misplaced priority

On the man Rochas Okorocha

“Africans have lacked visionaries since the death of people like Nkurumah, Mandela etc who did not only work for their nations because they believe that once they got it right with their nations, African will grow.

“Today, I am proud to associate with another great visionary who had discovered therapy for the Africa problem. I will ask my colleague presidents in Africa to queue into this vision and if possible donate a small percentage of the money we contribute at Africa Union to foundations like this. This is doing unity and not talking unity” he added.

He even has a statue of himself undecided meaning what?? angry
Gosh! I'm pissed at this man's cluelessness & insensitivity....The most annoying part is 2019 is too far, considering the trash Imolites have to keep tolerating from this man...

I'm just beginning to understand why he's always despised by the people he is meant to serve...very controversial human being.

this Rochas may be suffering from bipolar, most people in power or politicains are mentally ill, like hitler, king jong un, Idia min of uganda and other mad politicians with undiagnosed Bipolar. the obssesion with statues calls for his state of mind questioned.

The bigger picture here is this, Rochas is prepping for his Presidential ambition. Y'all sit down and observe. He's the only current governor who invites current heads of state to his state straight without the presidential protocols in Abuja. He obviously doesn't care abt the Imo indigenes anymore, he's now focused on the bigger picture "Abuja-Nigeria".
Like I tell my friends, his foundations/schools that are situated at every nooks and crannies of the country isn't a coincidence. It's part of his game plan to gain popularity across the country. Or is it his sudden romance with OBJ and other Kingmakers?
***Sit back and observe.

Honestly the problem of Igbo's are Igbos themselves.
These politicians can actually take it upon themselves to develop their region but they keep fooling around. The Easterners will be transferring aggression because it is easy to do so, neglecting their own failings. Honestly I used to be among those clamouring for Independence but looking at it closely we Igbo's are no better. Until we change ourselves how can we change the society around us?
you are very foolish for this comment

Incase you don't know, Igbos are the most critical of its leaders. No political leaders have received condemnation from its people than the SE people. How are easterners transferring aggression? That Igbos are calling for equity, justice and fairness which has not stopped them from criticizing it's politicians is what you call transferring aggression?

Rochas okoroawusa has always Been criticized for his Inept, lackadaisical leadership and eye service of being politically correct just like other selfish politicians, so stop talking as if Easterners are clapping for these rogues

I wanted to reply to ur insult but I changed my mind. I am way too mature for that. I am Igbo too and I also know what happens in the east. If Igbo's do not support their political leaders, how come their political rallies witness huge turnout? I understand that people do speak against these political rogues as u call them, but there is a difference between speaking and acting. I expect Igbo's to channel their aggression into uprooting the bad leaders that they have and electing the ones that will move the region forward. Why can't anyone start a campaign to kick out okorohausa and his liked?. Instead we are busy raising campaigns to fight marginalization from FG. Biafra or no Biafra we Igbos can take a stand to put things right by ourselves. That is what I'm trying to say. If I am foolish so be it.

I won't be surprised if all Okoroawusa's his investments is in SA or any of the countries whose leaders appear there. Con men of the highest order, shining his teeths like a dead ZOMBIE. Those countries needs to be investigated to know if stupid Okoroawusa is about to transfer funds or has investment in it to seek fortress after his tenure. UK and other western nations will fish him out

You're an ignoramus, Rochas rigged his way on the second election, majority of Igbo people hate Rocha's and don't see him as leader, only Yoruba/Hausa people cherish and hail him because he is APC member

Don't mention Igbo here
