eziokwubundunuwa:Lol! Obasanjo doesnt even have a statue in yorubaland. Illiteracy is bad. This one is placing statues of living people, who have not done anything honourable, all over the place. Even a statue of himself. Such arrogance. He must think hes some type of pharaoh. Ur people are meant to honor u, u dont honor urself. |

Foodforthought:Nobody around you Igbos in this present day Nigeria want you Igbos to change anything around them. Let Igbos concentrate on their region And if possible, move to their region in thousands cos their presence in our regions is affecting our infrastructures. After all, each region has what is allocated to them. It's not nice to have all these Igbos with their Almajaris children leeching on our free education, free health care via state hospitals and others. Funny enough, other regions should be the one to help Igbos to change from this chest-beating mentality, sense of entitlement to what they don't deserve, marginalisation rhetorics, hereditary hate-personified aura and parasitic nature. |

Foodforthought:Not maybe sef, I'm very sure.. I av researched deeply on this.. So many things make up a good economy.. Most of the countries in the north of Africa produce finished goods and export to Europe.. Not just raw materials.. Most of countries like Kenya, and others in the north has world class tourism economy. Most countries in the north of Africa have better football league, in fact, they have standard sport sector. A country like Egypt has 99% electricity supply for her citizens.. SA is far ahead of Nigeria... Most of these countries have standard water system for their cities and rural areas.. Health care is far better in most of these countries with some of them having foreigners come there for medical treatments.. We send a lot of our people to go to Egypt, SA, Kenya, etc to learn and acquire skills.. This shows better educational system.. Most of these countries have better par capital income for their citizens.. Most are better in manufacturing.. U know, we lie to our selves a lot in Nigeria.. See Nigeria that can not survive without oil dey follow countries that have developed their production and manufacturing sectors to international standard compete.. Take sport judge sef.. While clubs in SA, like Soundwns, Pirate, Keizer chiefs, etc are securing international sponsorship deals with the likes of Toyotal, Puma, Hyundia, etc, where players get brand new cars periodically, Nigeria is still battling for or against Buhari, IPoB, oil, revenue.. Look at clubs like Ahly of Egypt, Sahel of Tunisia, etc they are well managed with better leagues.. When u watch them, u will see citizens better than us here.. Just that Nigerians know how to suffer and smile, we know how to manage, we know how to patch patch life eh.. If not, we are not living life here at all.. Even as a rich man, u are exposed to generator sound every day before u can generate electricity.. What a shame.. |

Lloydfolarin:Not trying to twist the issue by what exactly does"sense of entitlement to what they don't deserve" mean ? |

Foodforthought:Example They want another state despite the size of their landmass and population Just look at their landmass in that picture They just believed that whatever Yorubas/Hausa/Fulani get, they deserve it too regardless of our size and population. That's sense of entitlement to what they don't deserve What they failed to understand is this, if they one state today, Yorubas are getting two additional states the following day. Ibadan alone is bigger than Abia and Ebonyi state combine How they managed to get 5 states beats my imagination till date. I honestly think Ebonyi should be forced back to their old state.

We really need to do better 2019. Ball is in our court... Lets continue to vote on sentiments and not the quality individuals have to offer, we'll get worse than what we have. |
