they wrote it in small letters so that it won't catch your attention.
they are still charging 25% fee on the 1400.
you are only left with 1,050. per hour

do the maths.
uber's average earning per hr has always been 1,000.
they stopped the guaranteed 90k weekly
and made the top ups only 10k. they are trying to use English to deceive us.

this new "promo" is to kill off guys focusing only on short trips to get to 60k. so if you do 60 short trips a week. and it took you 50 hrs to complete, uber will check if your money is equal to 1050 x 50hrs which is = 52,500.

if your money isn't up to 52500 after 50 hrs, they will add it up to 52500 and then give you 10k for completing 60 trips.

therefore total earnings in this scenario for the week is = 62,500.

scam.

well, it's not in the number of trips, but the number of hours. keep doing your short trips for like 12 to 14 hours a day and finish the week at 90hours, that's 90*1050= 94500

see a perfect example.

i did 60 trips in this week.

60 trips took me 56hrs.

and the payment for those trips was 61,000.

in this case uber will calculate 56hrs × 1,050. which is 58,800.

as you can see, i made 61,000 That week. which is above the 1050 guarantee. therefore, uber will not add any hourly guarantee money to me.

all they will now do is add 10,000 for completing 60 trips and total for that week will be 71,000.

so from 90k guaranteed weekly, they reduced it. implication is that you can no longer make 80k a week on uber, unless you drive 60 surge trips, or 60 long distance trips or a combination of surge trips and distance trips.

goodbye to short trips.

not even Romeo3 has done 90 hrs a week. the highest I have done is 88hrs.

90hrs a week is not realistic.

so basically, they went from doing 60 hrs for 90k to 90 hrs for 90k.

makes no damn sense.

Right after uber's 40% fare deduction, they introduced this exact hourly guarantee and you were constantly proving to us you can make more than 100k weekly, and you were making it, even when we were saying taxify is better then. Nothing has changed between that time and this one

stop this nonsense.

all you are ever trying to do is try to make me understand that you were making sense when it was nonsense.

that was in May, this is October. in May with the hourly guarantee, i was making 100k or was I not? what's your problem?
are you making 100k a week on taxify even now?

between then an now uber has lost more riders. due to uber drivers being rude and refusing to go on distance trips. riders ran to taxify taxi for distance trips.

get your head out of the cloud. taxify are also scammers. a smart person looks for a way to make money. i am smarter than you and i can easily pinpoint when my earnings are being jeopardized and i sound a warning.

but all you do is be myopic about issues, and try to claim you were right when you were wrong. when taxify comes up with a worse plan, what will people like you do?
