Deebay:Thanks for the reply @Deebay, your profile is straight forward as your NYSC and other job fall on the same NOC. This is clearly acceptable by IRCC. My curiosity, and what still remains unclear, is if there's someone in the house who had combined an NYSC NOC different from other job NOC. That will be very helpful. Congrats to all ITA recipients. May God see y'all through. |

Yooku:Today marks 80 days in NA2. I'm tired mehn, tired of analysing cases on immitracker just to determine possible PPR date. So I decided to take a 'siddon look' approach and focus instead on my travel plans. Let them take their time in Trafalgar Square...when it exceeds normal processing timeframe, I'll bring down their door. Good luck all London crew and all the best with travel plans. |

Yooku:Yes, once I fill her as unaccompanying, I maintain my points. but if I click "YES" for spouse accompanying, my CRS score reduces |

KINGTELLER:She can do IELTS and possibly ECA to up your CRS back to 432 if not more. The only reason why you will hava a lower CRS is if youfill her as accompanying and she did not support you with her IELTS and ECA. An accompanying spouse with IELTS &ECA will give almost same CRS as a non accompanying spouse. CRS might even be more sef |

daremum:Are you sure you didn't get points for adaptability also? You might become ineligible if the additional 5 points was added to your FSW points to make you eligible for the program. |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by Abbylee: 12:43pm On Oct 19, 2017 |
So this means the 5 points will only be useful if i take the provincial nomination route right? GlitteringStar: |

sleekysilk:Yes, I know but I dont want to expense money on her doing all that , she is not really showing much interest and I can't afford to raise much money doing IELTs and ECA for her (Lots of project on ground to do my brother).... To be frank with you the purpose of doing this thing is to secure my child's future, it's not that I have much interest in it. |

Hello Ugoiyke, How far with the Port Harcourt pre-arrival session you were trying secure? Is it closed. Can I register with ITA because the website states one must have PPR, COPR, PUM etc. I hope to hear from you soon on it. ugoiyke79e: |

If without your uncle, you will still be able to get up to 67 out of 100 for eligibility, then you can easily remove him after ITA. I indicated that I had an Uncle in Canada pre-ITA. However, when I realised I had to provide some documents to support the claim, I changed it to no relative in Canada after ITA. This did not affect my application. daremum: |

Madcow:Hi, Raise a CSE and choose Accra as your visa office. Also send a mail to accra email address. Your application will be withdrawn if they are yet to touch ur file. It might take up to two months to withdraw ur app. I hopee this helps. |

Abbylee:It is useful for the FSW program. The 5 points can make one to be eligible for the FSW's program. For example, someone with a score of 62/100 can get additional 5 points for adaptability if such person has a relative (PR/Citizen) living in Canada. The person's score will be boosted to 67/100 which will now make him/her to be eligible for the FSW program. |

cochtrane:@cochtrane, thanks for your contribution on this topic. I hold the same opinion with you but this recent reply(find attached from 6days ago) I got from tweeting at IRCC is casting doubt on that opinion. Of course they(IRCC twitter handler) can make mistakes while giving answers to queries too which could be misleading to applicants. That’s why I’m keen on contributions from anyone in the house who has combined different NOCs before to clear the smoke. This will be very much appreciated.

I am not sure they will reject the TRV application jsut because of ITA? It might not make sense to have TRV if he/she does not have plans to travel to Canada before PPR. If he/she however has plans to do something very important in Canada, say to write professional exams before PPR, then I believe he/she should still be able to use the TRV. It is not all applications that are processed within 3 months. Some people even wait for over a year. @Madcow, you can read this link below for more information about having dual intents. http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/resources/tools/temp/visa/dual.asp sleekysilk: |
| Re: Canadian Express Entry/Federal Skilled Workers Program-Connect Here Part 2 by manlikegb: 1:20pm On Oct 19, 2017 |
Madcow: sleekysilk:You still have to consider also that, sometimes when you withdraw an application, it returns and counts to you as a REFUSAL(read this somewhere on NL). I think it has to do with how long since its been submitted or something like that. Well, I don't think you should mind withdrawing your application still though, but I'd suggest after eAPR or AOR. No other reason than, incase the withdrawals comes as a refusal, you won't have to fill it in your PR application. Make sense? |

KINGTELLER:Ok. Since you know, and you have planned it out, go ahead with your plans. But u guys wait o... all these spouse doesn't have interest, plus principal too no get interest abeg make una reduce the number of people in the pool for CIC to reduce CRS na. Na joke I dey joke ooo. I dont know how cash tight you are anyway but I still feel paying for IELTS for your spouse even if u want to avoid ECA should not be that bad. Afterall, you still have to pay for her medicals and PCC plus show POF for her and every family member even if she's not accompanying you. God that will provide all the other funds can also provide IELTS money if you ask him to. My thoughts though. Final decision is yours. |
