Turai Yaradua almost bought half of Choice plazas and other properties in Abuja. She has several account housing Billions till date.

But Buhari eyes are only fixed on Southerners, Northern Christians or any opposition who refused to decamp to APC.

God dey....

It is all about witch-hunting.

If only the SS was represented by Donald Duke in-lieu of Ebele Jonathan, we would have been better for it.

Shame on OBJ.

This woman owns half the country. Her business acumen must exceed Dangote and Adenuga combined to make such wealth while serving as a full time civil servant

This govt is just too determined to ruin this woman and her reputation. Her case with EFCC has been on since 2015... That's about 2 years na.... What happened to Dasuki gate Oliseh Metuh Yakubu, the owners of the cash at Osborne?

How can efcc seek forfeiture for a property whose owner hasn't been convicted of fraud.

Even in America whose democracy is a thousand times more advanced than ours, asset forfeiture is regularly applied to people who are merely suspected of laundering money whether from proceeds of crime like drug dealing, or political corruption, or insider-trading or whatever. They don't have to convict you. Basically, when they see you living a life and spending money you can't credibly account for its legitimate source, the seize your assets and pretty much ask you to come and explain how you got the money.

You people really have to stop defending blatantly corrupt people to push your political agenda. Patience Jonathan had no credible means to acquire all the assets she has. Start supporting the quest to prosecute people who have flagrantly abused positions of power to enrich themselves and leave your politics behind.

Dasuki that was held even after courts asked for his release on bail na Igbo or Ijaw man, abi? Better rid yourselves of this pathetic mentality. Any normal person not blinded by ethnic hate shouldn't even care whether the corruption fight is focused on their tribe. Infact, as an Igbo man, I would be more than happy if it's only our politicians getting prosecuted by EFCC, so they can clean up our politics. This is the same pathetic mentality that saw Bayelsa and Delta people celebrating proven embezzlers and frauds like Alamieseigha and Ibori while crying that Obj was politically witch-hunting them. Some protesting idiooots from those places don't ask why despite their massive allocations, their states still look wretched and even owe salaries. They refuse to hold their politicians to account because of a pathetic tribal mentality to protect "our own" corrupt people.

Who said nobody is talking about it?

Buhari is an incompetent president and a tribalist, but compared to GEJ, one thing I've never doubted is his sincerity to fight corruption. Unfortunately for him, this is not the military era where you can set up tribunals and try people anyhow. His efforts have been frustrated by institutional bottle-necks: a tediously slow, judicial bureaucracy which is itself a corrupt body, and a legislature that is even more corrupt than the executive.

The question I keep asking my self is how did this woman acquire all this properties what was her source of money, and this are the ones we are aware of, I was even told she has a small Estate in Kyami district Abuja close to to GEJ's massive farm land, na God save Npape people by now she would have demolished that place and acquire the land for herself. na was oh.

Is this government fighting corruption with sincerity If yes, how much have they recovered and what are doing with the recovered loot?
If this government is sincere enough in fighting corruption, then they must investigate all past high ranking to low ranking office holders.

We all know why dasuki is being detained. It has to do with personal vendetta he has with ur master bubu. Let them present him to the court for trial and prosecution if their claim of 2.1billion dollars is true.

Perhaps. With their jumbo pay, a Senate member can claim his ridiculously large salary is how he builds a big hotel for example. Patience Jonathan was just a first lady: an unofficial post with no remuneration.
