I just spoke to Mr. Anjola some minutes ago and he confirmed that there was an email glitch and those who are supposed to resume would get a mail soon.
I however pointed out that those who did medicals and documentation and haven't received mails are scared, but he reassured me that things are under control and people should not be scared.

I keep wandering why it wasnt a deposit of 1million naira glitch.
Glitch or no glitch, things are under control.

I think at this point we should minimise speculations and just come here with facts; could be responses from HR, or mails received by any of us. That's gonna do a whole lot in easing tension. And as much as possible let's try to be transparent,this life is too short. Thanks.

Yes check my previous posts,i never told people who had not got mails for documentation to move on but from the way I can see political responses from these HR contacts with statements like "those who are supposed to resume will get mails soon and people should not be scared", I can only advise that we move on and not try to justify reasons the initial TS mails were sent.

For those being 'emotional' about the move on part, come on guys let's be rational. It's a race, it's almost impossible for FBN to pick everybody so in your best interest when things don't seem to be going the way you wanted, comfort yourself with the knowledge you gave your best & devote yourself to other purposes (Yea, I know it's easier said than done but then that's reality).

The only way we can truly be helpful to each other is by saying the bitter truth no matter how inhumane it may sound.

Congrats to those 'miraculously' scheduled for November, and for those who have had their medicals & documentation prior to this new devt, Que Sera Sera

No it's not a glitch. The HR guys told me that he was going to send the mail. However, did you get invite for TS??

Hi Ehis,any update please?

I called one of the HR contacts and from his response, I think First bank is doing a kind of damage control with regards to the mails that were probably sent in error.

Several people who got the mails for TS without documentation will likely get another mail for documentation before the TS resumption date while those who had their documentation and medicals earlier but didn't get this current mail for TS will likely be called for the second tier of the TS (early next year, maybe January or February, my guess). He specifically said some people have been scheduled for the second batch of TS.

Let's keep our fingers crossed and wait patiently, all will be well, no doubt.

@Bamibor is most likely right. I recently called one of the HR guyz, he assured me its going 2 b in batches. Next batch most likely coming up early next year. Anyone in need of further clarification can call their numbers. There's no harm in calling.
