Wife of Singer, Peter Okoye aka Mr P, Lola Okoye has reacted to the song and music video "Cool it Down" recently released by her husband.

She lauded her husband for the big move and the great work at the same time wishing him more success.

What people don't know is that it was Lola who introduced them into the oil and gas business they currently are into. Her dad has a big oil firm and they used her contacts. When she was doing all the help and rendering all the services to the okoye family they didn't complain.

I guess in life people just want to use you and then dump you when they are through. You are only lucky to find those who will appreciate your efforts.

The earlier the better all this fans taking sides know that it's no more about the talent but connection the better for them, believe P-Square had their time and even before the break up, all we do was applaud their delivery and consistency in churning out good songs, nothing more..

Only few platform consider them for shows, cos this generation tend to flow better with the younger generation of artist like wiz, David and Co, reason why all this artist will keep reducing their age,.

P-Square had already reached that 'we have done it all' point of their carrier believe me. So now it doesn't matter who first makes a release after the breakup or the other that used a full year to make a record, fans will make comparisons and move back to the teknos and kiss Daniels.

That been said, the song they are doing now actually do not really matter, but what they make out of the brand they have developed over the last 20 years.

Cool. The song is cool. The video is cool. But ofcos you will have people that will hate on it solely because a.) They are Paul fans. b.) They follow anything crowd says, and the people are leaning more towards the belief that Peter can't sing. c.) They believe Lola is behind the P Square breakup, and they hate her and Peter.

Regardless of all these Peter will do well because Lola has more connects and did a lot for P Square's career than a lot of people know. Of cos Paul too will do well. I wish them both all the best.

You are right about Lola's father. He was a former Chevron oga. He moved on to establish oil servicing firms in Lag and PH. He used to be my number 1 customer when I was with an old generation bank.

Truth is, the lady helped them (P-square) to climb the success ladder. Why the other Okoyes refused to accept her is what I don't know.

Cool it down is good though. The percentage of people supporting Peter is mind blowing. He was the face of the group. I believe he will do just fine. I wish Paul all the best too. The sky is wide enough for all birds to fly.
