Oga they can afford to make mistakes cos the system will alert them. If a driver makes a mistake while driving multiple lives might be lost.. And when you collect your weekly 40k rental what's left for the driver isn't up to 2k5
Everyone wants to make money but that doesn't mean we shouldn't have empathy for our fellow human beings.

So your argument is Uber drivers pay check should be much higher than those working in the bank?

How about those that private drivers that earn 20k monthly.

Or school bus drivers that earn 20k monthly?

ask him if he ever did 70k a week. and tell him to prove it.

Here is the proof, I drove for only 4days 10-12hours each to get 95k, Thursday I did 1 trip and was hired to be a take someone to epe going and coming.

During those period I'm coming to complain, I was also making cool money, coming here to complain was all politics to see if Uber will readjust their price.

Working above 100hrs weekly is almost 3 times more than what should be legally allowed (40-50hrs weekly is legal), as a matter of fact drivers on Uber who drive 6hrs straight should be paid for 8hrs by Uber. Still wondering what kind of government we have in place with no directives and regulations just because they want to attract foreign investors who don’t give a sh..t about them.

This is putting the lives of other road users in danger. I will send a letter to the ministry of transportation citing good examples around the world...no driver should be put in this sickening conditions.

Well, there is a cause, because we want price readjustment from Uber. But since taxify got enough riders Uber can go to hell.

In business is all about interest.

If this honest man ogunvic , have a bad car or his car develop a problem beyond repair, will you support him and be his driver? the answer is no.

If this man makes above 100k weekly driving, dont expect him to employ a lazy driver, infact he will wish for a driver that can do better than him. because he wants the driver to progress.

What he charges for weekly rental doesn't mean he is not helping people.

If you are driving in Uber/taxify and @ the end of the day you are able to go home with 3k after rent and fuel money, believe me you far better than a banker.

some bankers you see dont go home with 2500/per day, if we are to divide their salary in a month.

Total gibberish

A problem actually becomes a problem when it involves close relatives. Gazzuzz if we continue with this “this is not London” mentality then I believe we have a long way to go.

Imagine a very tired Uber driving sleeping behind wheels and swerving off his lane to hit to death one of your love ones, does that sound a UK thing to you. I don’t think we should jest about things that affect our lives, our leaders see how jestful and unserious we are and are giving us the treatment we deserve.

Totally makes no sense Bro. How can u assume u can be online for 16hours, driving or waiting for request in 6-7days stretch. Are there not other things to be done. What of the time u need to wash the car, fix it or anything else. The beauty of the job as been defeated, which was initially to give u power over the when and how u wanna drive.

It means you MUST complete at least 84 trips in at least 112hours with an acceptance rate of 75% to qualify for a minimum weekly earning of N122,000.
Then an additional top up of N10,000 for completing over 60 trips.

As with all other incentives/promotions, DESTINATION trips do not count.

wink

Oh really, that's the game changer. Uber so dead
Destination trips were counting during the 20/30/40/50/60 trips guaranteed earnings

Why are bankers not working for 16hrs daily, ask the HR guys and they will explain what productivity means. You assume I’m lazy because I propose a balance of work and live ethics. If a driver falls sick because of 16hrs on the road, the partner would be out of pay also, please see the bigger picture and don’t just attack because you have chosen to take that stance.

Let Uber pay 1,500 hourly. 1,500x8hrsx6days=72,000 weekly (288k monthly)
100k for fuel you have 188k, this should be enough for partner and driver.

Uber job is to live a normal life and not become a billionaire.

Hello guys. I haven't been here in a longtime.. I was a regular Uber driver, until I got a 9-5 job so I had to give up the car back to the owner, but I'm available to drive on rental agreement on weekends only. If you have a car or know anyone ready to lease theirs for rentals on weekends, kindly call or text my number anytime. I'll upload my Current Uber ratings. I'm trustworthy, professional and friendly. Kindly get in touch on 08122191803. Be rest assured your car is in safe hands

6hrs a day x 7 days = 42hrs in total.

6hrs monday to Friday = 6 x 5x 1050 = 31500

6hrs saturday to Sunday = 6 x 2 x 1200 = 14400

total = 45,900 guaranteed.

D problem now is you're not guaranteed 4-5 trips during the period. Trips are scarce on uber these days

Hmmm.....Miss Parrot, you seem to be attacking anybody in here that is trying to make sense regarding the conditions on Uber, at one point I read that you had driven before and stopped. May I inquire, why did you stop and also you could have been part of this earning challenge I see Romeo & Co are gunning for, abi you dey forbid to join the challenge no? Come to think of it, any partner Dem 40k or 50k from whoever that's handling car should also be prepared for the consequences, am not saying the 40k is not achievable withing two days e.g Saturday and Sunday like you calculated, because I sure say anybody wey dey use mouth drive motor nor dey get accident(Lmao),
But my point is this, such partner should also be ready to see his/her car always in messy condition, if you as me,
To whom much is given, much is expected as in terms of vehicle repairs all the time.

That statement may not be 100% true in all scenerios.
Example: Fuel consumption on Taxify is never going to be the same on Uber.

Fitness to drive?

Even sitting in a banking hall from 8am-6pm requires mental fitness, still those doing it appreciate their paycheck of less than 2500 daily.

First of, it's even silly to say a banker earns less than 2500 per day. (2500 × 20days = 50000 per month).
Contract staff see is getting 60/70/80k
