There is no doubt that the Phantom8 is Tecno's biggest carrier so far and the hype is real.

The specs are top of the line and the device is a beautiful designed piece.

I'm envying you right now.

Resolution: 1440x2560 pixels

^ ^ Do you see the above resolution? Samsung packed the galaxy S6, a 5.1" phone, with a 1440x2560 pixels!

We are about entering 2018 and Tecno is still parking its Almighty Phantom 8 with a 1440 x 1920 pixels! Imagine such resolution on a 6 inches phone.

The problem with you guys (Tecno fan boys) is the same problem with many Nigerian youths. Just a little crumbs from politicians, a little crumb from Tecno (charger, power bank) and you guys would be doing very biased, narrow and shallow reviews.

Worst is that I heard this phone cost about N130,000. What nonsense.

In summary, Tecno has refused to grow because many Tecno reviewers don't tell them the truth. This phone is overrated and expensive. I wish more Nigerians like you can try to review other brands. You won't grow if all you review is Tecno, Itel and Infinix phones.

Yep. Similar thoughts were expressed here, albeit subtly.

This year's Phantom is disappointing, to say the least.

If it were priced like the Mi A1, it'd make more sense.

As for the 'clueless' fanboys, they'd buy almost EVERYTHING PR throws at them. I bet most of them think the "Auto Refocus" feature is a big deal.

Tecno is trying but this device on the international market is not a real flagship competitor, it's really a step further but Tecno needs to try harder, devices with these chipsets are much in the Chinese markets and they don't cost this much, even though Tecno throws in some items like earpiece they still need to do more. What I like about this device most is it's design. it's really beautiful.

Please try do a speed test between phantom 8 and the Nokia 6.
