My baby has never worn more than one layer of clothing since she was born, except maybe a sweater if it's really cold. I see some parents dress constantly in three layers, and the thought of all that laundry chai. My baby sweats so much, if you are dressing her in 3 layers you might have to go through 9 clothes in one day . I'm too lazy for that kind of life biko, if she's cold that's what blankets and wool sweaters are for. Plus you can always close the window or light a candleIf you have the space o

@Kelizosuy, my hubby too likes to cover with shawl so i make sure I keep only light clothes for bed time, then all through the night we play this game where he would wake up and cover her and I would wake up and remove the cover to look like the baby kicked it off.

Since I've taken over her bathing from today I will make sure she sleeps light. The windows are always closed at night though.

Lol, I don't even own a sweater, the one that bugs me is wool caps...once I see a baby wearing one in Nigeria my head starts itching me. The only wool thing he owns is 1 of those white shawls that I only used maybe twice and is now packed for 2nd baby. Every other thing is cotton. He wears only a sleepsuit to sleep with no covers and even that one halfway through the night is soaked with sweat. During the day a sleeveless vest under his clothes. It was the doctor that flung his cap on day 5 or so. Hubs sweats a lot too so I don't have to deal with covering. In fact I'm the one always shouting that they reduce the fan
