You really don't understand the politics of the SW. Tinubu's influence is not as strong as it once was and if you watch body language, Fashola is already making a statement of his own. I won't be surprised if he decides to run come 2023. Osibanjo too is a strong contender should he decide to contest. Saraki is going to be an issue especially in the NC for the race of presidency and the only sure bet for Atiku right now is SE/SS which is still not certain. The race for Aso Rock come 2019 is going to be between a Northerner and "Buhari". What will decide the winner is the choice of vice president. Atiku is definitely going to pick a vice from SE.
As it stands right now, whoever can control NE, NC and SW is already Mr President which is clearly not Buhari or Atiku.

The SW will never march in unison for anybody. Even with all the Tinubus of the SW, Bihari won 53% of their votes while jonathan won 46%. He still held his own. TheSW doesn't just follow any leader around. The votes there will be divided once again

First of all, we should know that Buhari isn't invincible. After all it took him 4 tries to win the elections. A good strategic combination can push him out
You forget that 2015 was between a northerner and a southerner that northerners don't like. Don't let 2015 deceive you to thinking the results will be same. NW and NE votes can and will be divided although PMB might have more votes. NC have always voted PDP until 2015. You can't just expect them to follow the NW. Their votes will be divided too and can go either way. I doubt they are big fans of PMB anyway

The SW will always be divided. It doesn't belong to any person or party.
I believe the APC can hold their own in the SS even though PDP will likely win it
And SE will mostly go PDP

At the end of the day, the candidates for both parties are also important and the campaigns behind them
