We live in an evil world. If a man can slaughter his fellow man, what is there not to believe?

This kind of birds don't fly at night. Seeing it at night it a question to ask.

Superstition and Ignorance is a dangerous combo
as it makes the victim susceptible to every ridiculous
beliefs and conmen antics.

What is even more disturbing is that the purveyors of this nonsensical
beliefs seem to think their opinion is superior to all others because
they "experienced it" when it is nothing but an extension of their
confirmation bias rooted in lazy thinking.

An innocent bird which missed its way was killed to assuage the anger
of a man who refuses to take responsibility for his own life.

so fucking true... I had a friend that complain that his village people always send geckos at night to monitor her... lol! I took a little look around and notice.... the kind of lightening and the ceiling... asked her to change it and do a little clean ... using insecticide to kill insects...

within a short time the geckos.. relocated... note!!! no prayers... no bible flipping... no charms...the geckos were not killed

the geckos find the place cool with insects to eat! some times... this animals... have some way of doing things...its nature! bat is evil... owl is evil ... cat is evil..., vulture is evil kai.... africana ehnnn!

The honest truth is we are all irrelevant individually in the grand scheme of things this is hard to accept but a humbling reality.

Consider the life of an akara. From the point of peeling the beans grinding frying eating and shittting it out .No particular akara has any particular significance. Even though one may feel it is the Messi of akaras because it is eaten in Aso rock while another is eaten under Obalende bridge.
You will enter the kitchen one day and there will be no sign that there was any akara frying activity there .In fact ultimately the kitchen will disappear one day.

So too with us,like the millions who have walked this planet for thousands of years in a short time we will be forgotten like Yesterday's akara

Are there also Akara witches? Trying to scuttle the destiny of individual akaras? Trying to prevent it from getting to Aso Rock and confine it to Ojuelegba?

Our egos tell us we are more important than reality declares. Whether we have the brightest or the darkest destiny in absolute terms it is TOTALLY irrelevant to anything. Let us deal with that reality. We are just another akara passing through the stomach of life

Useless africans..
The developed world are moving to greater heights, without much religious adherence

While with our millions of Prophets, Imams and Native doctors we are still looking for evil bird and at the same time looking for how to borrow money from the Developed Countries (who are less religious) to fund our National projects angry .

Person wey do Africa this thing, eh no go better for you..
How can a 3rd World country like Nigeria, have 3-4 Pastors amongst the top-10 richest in the world undecided

My brother I fear o. Many Africans just carry smart phones about but medieval in their minds. You cannot jump in "evolution" of the mind. It takes time. Modern technology around us makes no difference.

500 to 350 years ago, Europeans were still killing themselves over religion, burning people alive at stake over witchcraft accusation.

In another thread on FP right now about Benin, a common African Koala family bear was found on an electric pole. They are calling it a witch. shocked shocked

As a kid I saw that animal caught and used as a pet for a while. And then eaten. A very common animal in the tropical rain forest zone.

You wonder the kind of biology they teach in school these days.

And when they hear about Benin, they go into superstitious orgasm.

Some people come from places where human skulls/organs are used to do juju anyhow and you can get fresh human parts like buying lacasera. Then you have to wonder which witchcraft is worse than broad day light killing for organ harvesting. shocked

Come back and tell us the aftermath of know liking the poor bird ! There still will be no job and his pastor will find someone else to blame for his predicament . Superstitious people are fools ! They will fall for any idiot who can program them . Then the same mugu will now be telling smarter people that they don’t understand the “ mysteries “ of the world ! Countries that have less than five percent unemployment and vibrant economies must have “ evil bird “ killing programs - that must be the secret to their prosperity !

When a people deeply religious as nigerians have sacrificed their God given power on the alter of formication, adultery, stealing, ignorance, illiteracy, murder & all appearance of evil, why wouldn't they not keep calling on pastors/ prophets to help kill that cockroach that is always roaming about every night in their room.

Only in Nigeria people accuse witches for the faulty electricity transformer in their area. The same transformer that is overloaded & obsolete

Nigerians always blame others for their predicament but exclude themselves. The same Bible says fools because of their disobedience, iniquities & transgressions were afflicted

If you check the so called witch now, not even an Edo or Benin person

So if it was an owl, it wouldn't have been considered to be an evil bird since owls are nocturnal.
