The only mouthpiece of ohanaeze ndigbo is CHIEF NNIA NWODO.
I don't know this attention seeker who is talking about 2023.

Your people can't still vote for a one Nigerian Igbo man.

Forget other Nigerians first. The truth is that even when an ex-biafran warlord and repentant one Nigerian Ojukwu contested for presidency, his own people rejected him at the polls. TWICE.

Remove the log in your eye, before pointing out the speck in others.

He was in Apga, a minor party and some voted for him.
Present an Igbo man with Pdp or Apc,your people will still not vote him.

[b]My brother the thing tire everybody.

Most Nigerians never knew how much hate some Igbos harboured in them until IPOB became their latest fad.

I can't lie, personally the Igbo man that would sway my opinion today, I'm not sure I have met him.

Reason being, at the height of Ipob' s demonstration of hate, hardly did you find any who came out to oppose their actions.

Shame catch me for some people. []
Irrespective of IPOB's idioticity I believe it will only be just for an Igbo man from the Southeast to be supported for Presidency in 2027(after the expiration of the second term of the incoming northern President).

Some? One would have expected an overwhelming majority of your people to have voted for Ojukwu if you all were sincere (but you chose PDP)...besides have you asked yourself why APGA remains a minority party to this day even after over 15 years of its establishment? Did CPC and ACN not have to merge before they became the APC you're talking about? You're the ones deceiving yourselves my dear.

Nobody will vote for your kinsman just because he is an Ibo man, you as a people have to demonstrate that you have Nigeria's unity at heart, and must shun politics of hatred and blackmail.

With the vitriol, insults, antagonism and raw hatred spewed from your region since Jonathan was defeated, I daresay you might be right that until amends are made, nobody from other regions would vote for an iboman no matter if he runs on the platform of APC, PDP, CNN or NIV.

That's not how it works.

You must earn your position not causing division up and down.

So when an Igbo president comes should he be expecting peace?

That is a fact, it doesn't come on a platter of gold but for the sake of entrenching real oneness I think they should be considered...

Honestly, I can't lie to you, prior to this whole Ipob shenanigans I thought our next president should surely be Igbo.

Now?

It would take an exceptional representative.

Since they believe Cross River is Biafra let Donald Duke be considered from now.

It is quite achievable. They should start now with consultations, mending bridges and joining alliances together in order to get a presentable candidate. The problem with we igbos is that we hardly present a consensus candidates during presidential elections. you will see up to 5 igbo people running for one post but if there is a consensus candidates acceptable to all, I think it will be easier to push the igbo presidency agenda.

Nice thought and insight, i pray they listen though

Ideally, yes.

But that's if 10 years is enough to earn the trust, support and votes of other Nigerians, particularly the North and SW (major voting blocs) with the attitude of ndigbo in the recent past.

I doubt that for obvious reasons.

U people are yet to understand while the Yorubas and Hausas decided to cut down the tenure of Jonathan. In 2023 the both group will ask a Niger Deltan to contest in order to complete the tenure of Jonathan. Nigeria's politics is the more u look the less u see.

Honestly, the coming of IPOD reversed some gains made by the Igbos but forgiveness is divine.

Personally, I'll campaign and vote for a credible Igbo man when the time comes (God sparing our lives).

The very idea of "zoning" is stupid enough, but this tendency for groups from all over the country to come out and outright demand "their" turn is simply ridiculous! How can having "our son" in the Presidency do anything to better the life of anyone but a few of his close friends, relatives and supporters, who will now get "their turn" at the "national cake"? Did Abacha, Obasanjo or GEJ use their power to transform their places of origin into heaven on earth? Why will it be any different if an Igbo man wins the presidency with no qualifications other than his being Igbo?

If Nigeria were a sane country with an intelligent and well-educated citizenry, all these idiotic groups would either be laughed off the stage or flogged out of the national arena, but as I've said before, most Nigerians are poorly educated, highly gullible and too tribalistic to see when they're being taken for a ride by cynical crooks seeking to line their own pockets. That's why the only criterion so many seem to care about in a presidential candidate is his zone of origin, rather than his intelligence, his experience, his character or even - gasp! - his political platform.
