Just know that there are genuine agencies.
Although they are very expensive, that's why people avoid them as usual, go through back door and fail woefully.
But they discharge their duties with utmost regard, as though their life depends on your success.

Your mentor has been caught for lying, take note grin
And what exactly did he lie about? Being in Canada or Australia? What's the distance between the two? If you have an Australian visa you don't need a visa to Canada, you only need an eTA. By the way I'm tired of answering mentions, life is the way you see it. If you feel outside the country is better for you, then go, if not stay where you are. Personally for me, it's not so I'm moving, I don't think that's anyone's problem, thank you.

What most of these guys dont even know is that Lagos economy with a GDP of $137billion in 2017 is bigger than almost 20 states in America and thats when calculated in nominal GDP. If we use the PPP (purchasing power) terms, Lagos economy is bigger than over 35 states in America. We take time to study these things and dont post popular opinion or beer parlor talk.
OP, I never saw this write up, you put up.
I must confess that you have SINNED and fallen short of the glory of GOD.
How could you concieve such a write up...??

Please, what is really spectacular about Lagos..??
LAGOS, a city with about 24 million people, of which 22milion are aggressively angry also, with about 500, 000 cars crossing third mainland bridge alone on daily basis...
No subways, no metros, no efficient transport system.
No chopper hangers, no air ambulance, no good roads.

I can't imagine a city in the US with such population and still lacks such.
NEW YORK is about 10million, yet has all these and still needs more.

The US funds 25% of the UN budget, which makes them a stakeholder while Nigeria is an onlooker.

I need to comment on this thread,u people keep saying ppl abroad are lieing and all,do u think its all about the money, are u considering d peace of mind u have,no noise of generator at nite or day,u breath clean fresh air,i did a road trip from atlanta to missouri for 10hours no pothole or bump on the road, dat smae day there was a missing girl and all d billboard in US had d face of d girl..i mean its alot more than the money.
Had a baby there and the nurses where even telling me sorry to give me injection, haba!!!
Pls stay in nigerian and leave with unhappy and insane ppl.It is more than the money for most of us,it is the sanity of mind.
I work in the bank in nigerian and do u know what a bank manager goes through beyond the suit he wears,do u know the emotional tourture,i practically work from 7.30am to 10pm as a banker,my salary is equivalent to dat of a cleaner and i happen to work in well paying bank o as a full staff...
The truth is that in developed countries there is digniy in labour,it is our mentality that still makes us call those jobs menial jobs, there everybody is respected until they meet blacks like us that discriminate.

Nigerians living in America are the greatest liars in human history. I repeat, 98% of them can't afford to rent a one bedroom apartment without sharing the burden with a roommate or spouse. They think everyone back in Nigeria can be deceived easily. They finally met their match and that is why they are all running from this post. The percentage of those working minimum wage that can afford to rent a one bedroom is 0.1%, not even up to 1%. We bring out evidence and facts but all they do is type assumption for the gullible. America is the hardest place in the world to become successful financially.

Intellectually most people are very lazy. The human brain has too many shortcomings. Now listen and listen good- Lagos has a bigger GDP than 18 states in America and that's even in nominal GDP where the whole economic output is converted in United States dollars. When the naira comes into play in terms of purchase power parity, Lagos economy is bigger than almost 35 or more states in America. If you are financially okay, you get the best quality of life wherever you live. Even in the poorest countries if the world, those who do well financially have the best quality of life.

Op....you need to define what a bank manager is. bank manager na just title oooo. A manager grade in a bank starts from AM( assistant manager) next is DM(deputy manager).
Trust me op....AM grade in some banks earn 500k monthly and I bet u dont want to know what they use that salary to do.....from topping up when u book expensive TD's to never ending PR's to get quality accounts....op no beef us wen u see us in suit oooo....na just packaging. If u are still in doubt walk down to broad street and see loan shacks advertising loans to bankers and see us scrambling for it. Bottom line is ur disposable income...compare odd jobbers in the US with some oda professional in Nigeria not bank managers pls.
Honest truth.

I was told most bankers live a fake life that most of them rely on loans from their jobs.

I'ev read through pages 1-31 and I can safely say people are very ignorant and jealous. The USA is better than this God forsaken country called Nigeria. You are very certain to live a decent life if you work hard enough. Nobody will cheat you, nobody will threaten you. In naija, everyone wants to show power with the ''do you know who I am'' syndrome. All because na friend to army general or because na government secretary or because he met a top politician at a party. The health sector here is messed up, security zero, social amenities zero, education sector zero. Many of those children lectures in Nigerian universities will travel abroad to get a degree and now come back home to be forming james bond. Telling a child that he won't pass his course for no just reason. In the USA this is impossible. You are passed accordingly to how well you do in examinations. Its in Nigeria where a private soldier will feel he is greater than a SAN lawyer. They feel they are untouchable. In the USA, they love their military. Sometimes ago, i saw a pic on the net of a Nigerian posing for a photo with the US navy seals. He captioned it ''if na naija who born me to try this kind thing''. Its even better living in slums in the USA than living in gwagwalada, maitama, lekki, VGC, asokoro or banana island here in this useless country. In the USA, if you have a problem, you just call 911 and the call is transferred to the necessary department. In naija can that ever happen. Zero power supply, corruption, mis management, look at our universities, what we boast of here can't even be ranked among the top 20 in Africa and thousands in world. No improvement in the health sector either . Graduated from university years ago and everyday I still think of when I'll buy my own land, build my own house and do the many good things of life. I so much hate this country abeg. Make I just stop here before i vex use knife chook person but 1 final word is I'll gladly take the role of a cleaner or mortuary attendant in the USA. If i no build my own mansion in nigeria within 5 years then something is wrong somewhere.

I think it's all opinion based. For me, the man made a mistake as far as I am concerned.
Dvc is better cause it's sort of legal. These ones went on holiday visas, so getting their papers is either by arrangee marriage or seeking assylum.for me morally, its a no-no but they are willing to do that.i can't condermn or judge anyone.
i have visited and lived in some developed countries.i can tell you,its still easier to live in Nigeria.
its so sad that we have such hopeless leaders. There are so many simple things that make the lives of Nigerians a lot happier and also prolong life, like electricity, paved roads, serene environment, good waste disposal system, water, good housing... But no, our nonsense leaders wouldn't do it. These would make a world of difference in the life and orientation of Nigerians.
grossintel:
going their without papers intact is a bad idea, your friend made an ignorant mistake! Before you relocate, it's best you have someone to help you settle there or you go alone there at first. It's even better if you did your masters or Bsc there, that will give you an edge on employment. They won't employ you with your naija degree. My pastor and his wife relocated to USA via Dvc lottery back then, the man was initially regretting the move seriously because all they had was a degree that isn't recognised. And he couldn't do odd jobs, but along the line both him and his wife found something doing and his wife started a nursing course. She's a Registered nurse now, and earns heavily. They built what we call a mansion somewhere in Enugu town within two years and are doing excellently. Don't say what you don't know, you only suffer in Yankee if you are illegal with no papers, if you have papers and you are legal the only thing holding you from working is choice. Your friend might regret the move now, but in 3 years he will understand he made the best decision for himself and family. Nigeria is hell!!! You won't know until you visit developed countries, to come back will give you high blood pressure.

Okay so you think a bank manager can afford dialysis 3x/week? Let me not even mention chemo.

Buhari can afford to LEAVE NIGERIA for months for treatment and pay millions to park OUR plane at the airport. How many bank managers can afford to pay for continous treatment in Nigeria?

For you to think that quality of life and wealth go hand in hand is mind boggling. How many people in those poor countries you are talking about can afford the "best quality of life" like you put it?

QUALITY OF LIFE

the general well-being of a person or society, defined in terms of health and happiness, rather than wealth

.....again do you know what quality of life mean?

Quality of life in Nigeria? where? Banana Island, Lekki, VI at what cost? 24 hour air pollution a.k.a generator. May this so called managers and/or their relatives who earn 1.5 million naira/month not end up with diseases that require expensive treatment e.g. 3x a week dialysis or chemotherapy. Who knows, their employers might decide to give them months off work and still pay them.

How many years of work(without "cheating/connections" did it take them to successfully climb the ladder and become managers?

You want to talk quality of life? Why do I even bother sad
Cheating ko connection ni
