Chapter 1

Stood in front of the mirror with my fairly big brown eyes staring at my flawlessly smooth light skin, someone once told me my skin could pass for a mirror as he nearly saw an image of him looking at my skin, I'd just laughed it off,my natural black hair rested on my back and far below my shoulders, not been a massive fan of make ups since someone called me a "doll", humans! They sure don't know how to look away and mind their business(es), pfft, satisfied with my looks, slipped my legs into my new Louis Vuitton World Tour, picked my watch,10:19am, oops! I'm late, Katherine will almost tear me apart! I had a date with her and I'm 19mins late.
Rushed to the dinning, took one loaf of bread, forced it down my throat, sipped a little from the teacup, I'd made it earlier this morning, got my car keys and rushed out of the house.. ¡Usain! Usain!! Usain!!Usaaaiiinnn!!! Where the hell is this boy?

"Yes, madam, you called me?

No, I flashed you, open the damn gate! He rushed to open the gate, Silly boy,' I murmured.

I'd employed him as my gateman 2 months ago and I am just getting tired of having to yell my vocal chords out before he shows up, pfft.

Drove out and sped like I was in a race competition, ignoring road signs, and traffic lights, finally, I got to Bon appetir', my favorite eatery, rushed out of the car, checked my phone, 13 missed calls! Oh no!, 9 from Katherine and 4 from an unknown number, Katherine has been my one and only friend for the past 5years and I'm really lucky to have her as a friend, but who's this stalker? This same number has been calling for 2 weeks now and whenever I pick up, he/she drops the call, well, I stopped picking, was going to check it out on True caller and burst his/her bubbles but I've been so busy lately, was lost in thought I didn't notice Katherine was standing in front of me

Mia! I've been standing here for close to 5 minutes now and you didn't even notice! Are you ok?

Yes Kath, I'm so sorry for being late.'

It's okay Mia, guess whatever kept you late was worth being late for, was just out to check if I'd see your car and if I didn't, would have checked you at your house, you weren't picking my calls either, Kath said.

No, far from that, you're so fat you can't possibly fit into their car, they'd need a truck for the Job but the truck would cost as high as your Ransom, so what's the point?

Chapter 2



We got in and I could feel too many pairs of eyes on my innocent skin, if only staring was premium! I thought ,well, they could stare for all I care! Doesn't bite a bit.
Kath directed me to the seat she literally 'booked' for me and went to get my order, there was this guy sitting right in front of me, nigga looks cute and clean, and was smiling at me, dafuq is he doing? Well, I smiled back, not because I wanted to but because he could be suffering from depression and want someone to smile at him, you never can tell, so I'd developed the habit of smiling at everyone I meet,if only he knew what he sees outside is not a reflection of what I have inside of me, he should be dead already cause I've killed him 100 times in 100 different ways in my smile, guys!
I'm Timi, friends call me Tims', I'd be boring you if I should start telling you how beautiful you look, you must've heard that too many times, you don't look Nigerian, would asking you what your name is kill the conversation I'm just putting life into?.
I looked up for the first time since he's been talking, he sounded different from other guys I've encountered but that doesn't make him too different, he might just be another scum! Argh, I'd just pretend I don't acknowledge his presence.

That was it! I was getting irritated, some part of me wanted to give an audience but I've promised myself not to get involved with guys anymore, it's been 6years but the scar's still fresh, story for another day, I guess.

Felt a hand drop a piece of paper in front of me, looked up and Mr Tims was gone already! Ugh, I sighed.

I kept staring at the piece of paper on the table as if it was some time bomb, slowly reached for it, guys! Could be his number, I'd thought.

Picked it up and I saw something really annoying written on it, it read "Guess you have your pride on today, see ya"..
What!!?? I screamed .
Who the hell does he think he is anyways? Mtcheew.

I noticed you have not been active for like 3 weeks now until today

I know the feeling, one time I had a girlfriend, she was pretty just like you so I had the fear shez gonna leave me because I loved her so much and feared heartbreaks like shii.

Why I was depressed was because I had no money at that time, she asked for just a seasonal film and I could not even buy 1 for her, so freaking broke to the core

She left my broke ass few months later and i got matured few years

My sister, depression is something that doesn't stop easily, the only aid to depression is to talk to someone about it, maybe a stranger like me, it will help...
