Could this be a frame up? How did the woman survive the attack if indeed it is true? Could she have pushed the 52 year old lady or scare her away? This woman might be suffering from dementia or she could have injured herself one way or the order.
If indeed she is innocent, she needs to get herself a good Lawyer and appeal the decision of the lower court.
But if the story is true and the woman actually did attack the old lady, then this is a heinous crime

I do not see any reason why this barbaric and despicable felonious act by a Nigerian woman in London should be couched in ethnic terms. Like I have said in one of my responses to a topic under discussion in this forum, No ethnicity in Nigeria has monopoly on committing crimes albeit abroad or within Nigeria. The fact is that Nigerians of all stripes are prone to criminal activities including murder, fraud, drug dealing, etc. So for any Nigerian of any ethnicity to come on this forum and act holier than thou is just disingenuous. It is not surprising to an average Nigerian when he/she hears that a Nigerian committed a heinous crime such as the one by the woman in London. Enough said!

She's 90 and close to her maker, and u decide to lose 21 yrs of ur life on an attempt! Maybe she should be slammed with additional 10yrs jail term for being foolish .

What she did is too bad if this is true. but mind you it is not only Nigerians that commits such crime,I have seen more heinous crime committed by other tnationalities,so it is not about nigerians seen as criminals,even the english themselves are more wicked.Besides I am doubting the sincerity of this gudgement,I am not seeingsufficient evidence that she actually attempted killing her,that woman is too old to survive two blow of a sledge hammer on her head,perhaps the yoruba woman didnt have a defence laywer,thats my opinion though.
