Could this be a frame up? How did the woman survive the attack if indeed it is true? Could she have pushed the 52 year old lady or scare her away? This woman might be suffering from dementia or she could have injured herself one way or the order.
If indeed she is innocent, she needs to get herself a good Lawyer and appeal the decision of the lower court.
But if the story is true and the woman actually did attack the old lady, then this is a heinous crime

I am appalled by this incident, l mean how can anyone intheir right mind, attack an old woman who has just lost her husband? Even the Devil must be wondering whether someone has overtaaken her in the act of wickedness.

But l am even more ashamed at the "reasoning capacity of our Youths"!
When important matters (like this) come into public space, the ONLY THING you hear our Youths talking about is whether the accused person is Igbo, Afonja or Fulani. ......all they think about nowadays is ETHNIC BIGOTRY!
And these and the people that are asking for a "power shift" from the old Politicians, to the young generation?
Are these the calibre of young people that we should hand-over the reins of Govt to?

Someone recently pointed out that these "Youths" are far worse and would do worse than their older generations.
And really, "evidence" is pointing in that direction if you look and compare cases of Terrorism, Kidnapping, cultism, e.t.c, between the Older generation and their Younger generation.

Nigeria needs a moral and mental revolution because the current set of YOUTHS will put the final nail into the coffin of this country and make it worse that Somalia.

In this case of a Nigerian in the U.K, it seems odd to me that the testimony of the woman was NOT MADE PUBLIC?
For example, l would want to know what she went to do in the widow's house
- I would want to know if she really had a Knife and a Hammer in her bag?
- If she did, what was her explanation for having such offensive weapon in her bag, in public?
- What was her explanation of the attack on the old woman in her home?

I am not trying to exoneratee the woman (Abosede) but l think it is only sensible and intelligent, to ask th rigth questions, get the right answers, before you castigate anyone of a grevious offence as murder, especially of an elderly woman

Now, l am not a fan of an "all white jury", in trial of a black person. I think th ejury should be more "racially balanced".

Nah... What everyone says doesn't matter... At the end God knows His own... So even if she pays tithes and testifies like u said.... She isn't ridiculing anyone but herself... God would still be God.. There is no controversy over that fact... He doesn't need anyones help.. He is God all by Himself.
