Which tyranny? Which violence?

The eastern region of the first republic was the envy of all and the pride of Nigeria because they had the highest number of graduates. .

Needless to say that was why they were able to produce the first head of state - Zik and first military head of state - Ironsi.

Violence was only brought to the republic of biafra after their 1st eastern military governor - Ojukwu chose to disintegrate and breakout forming a biafran republic where he would lord because he couldn't submit to Gowon who was his mate in the army.

Mind you, I am igbo, and my late dad fought in the biafran war as part of the biafran army.
GradeA lie. If you are Igbo as you claim, tell me the meaning of "Ojukwu" If u can't, u be confirmed afonjro.

Yes Ojukwu is a hero not only in Igbo land but in Nigeria and Africa at large.
His avoidable conflict with the Nigerian government and his fleeing the battle messed up his military career.

Nevertheless, I still admire this man who can never be replaced in Igbo land, not even that scammer that brainwashed thousands of jobless youths in the South East and led many of them to their untimely death.

For more information about this great man, read the following books:
1. The Biafra story by Frederick Forsyth.
2. Why we struck by Adewale Ademoyega
3. Nigeria Revolution And The Biafra Civil War by Alexander Madiebo.
4. Emeka by Frederick Forsyth.
5. Sun Set In Biafra by Elechi Amadi.
6. Sunset at Dawn by Chukwuemeka Ike
7. The making of African Legend by Frederick Forsyth.
8. The Brothers at War by John de St Jorre
9. The Nigeria Five Majors.

1 & 7 are actually the same book

We are celebrating this man today because of the legacy he left not because of his bank account. So My people life is not about money all the time, its About what you stand for and what you did.
Most of of Friends don't even know who their granddad was, even though they were rich. Because they lived a quiet life and died quietly. Nobody remembers Them anymore. So I implore you to leave a legacy on earth
What kind legacy sir?....how to be cowardly and run away from war?.....grin

or...how to lick hausa fulani ass after they've killed 3000 000 of your followers?...grin

Ignorance is a killer.
Sylvester Ojukwu - Ikemba's first son was 9 years when the war started and was a member of the Boys Company. You can ask any Igbo man who fought in the Biafra war the role of the Boys Company during the war. You have to put your brain to work to know that - that information don't come cheap - you earn it.
