I was discussing with an atheist some weeks back and he said while this is how their argument goes:

Christian: The universe must've had a creator

what they actually want to say is:

Christian: The universe must've had a creator therefore Jesus died for your sins on the cross of Calvary lol

You cracked me up with this. They automatically assume the cause of the universe - if there's one - is the Jewish 'dickish' tribal god, Yahweh grin
