Anyway, one old lady came to the first row to greet people she knew and as she was greeting a lady beside Onyeka, maybe she was too close for comfort, Onyeka was like "eww, don't touch me "and pushed the woman away from her. What struck me was the contemptuous way she did it.

Aramide who narrated how the veteran singer "Onyeka Onwenu" shunned her after she stuck around the veteran singer for a photo.

‘I was still really new in the industry and I opened the stage for her, I got down and decided to take a picture with her, as soon as I got there she went off on me. She said ‘Don’t touch me’. It was like the worst experience I have had in my life. Everyone was staring at me. I don’t think she knew I opened the show for her’.

‘I even knelt down to greet her, and she said okay come and take the picture. For a moment, I felt bad, but the good thing about that kind of situation is that it makes you work really hard…I lost my respect for her after that event, I don’t think I would see her and say hello. But It was a long time ago. It is what it is now, I have moved on,’ Aramide concluded". She said.

Aramide, see where you aqe today by His grace. She was very humble while at NTA, maybe she had oyhbo atitude then and early time of her musical career. She probably removed the oyibo garb and wore the Nigerian celebrity garb which is eccentic. Aramide, forgive her and forget it. I'm very sure, one day, she will surely ask to take pictures with you. The problem with our celebrities is the fact that they are not naturally made so they get intoxicated unecesarilly due to the fact that they believe they are larger than life.

Onyeka is naturally a snub! My dad, who is a very great fan of hers and had many of her records, greeted her warmly so many years back at the Murtala Int'l airport, but he received a very cold response, I mean a very cold response from Onyeka. Some other person also complained that I know. So she should leave matter.
