deomelo:Besides, the list is an ordinal scale because it is only listed numerically with no attached values, no idea of what the gap between each element in the list is. The difference between the last state there and the number 12 state might be less than 10 million naira difference in budget deficits of both. Yet, such crassness allows people from state number 12 to come here and masturbate like they are any better. Rabbish. |

deomelo:Aregbesola is a 7-year governor. He would need to have been terrible not to have commissioned more projects than most by this time in his tenure. And please, quit the BS about the MASSIVE 10% IGR increase. There's nothing massive about it. Infact, my own underperforming state, Anambra expanded its IGR from 7.6 billion in 2012 to 14.8 billion in 2015. Almost double. For whatever reason, no figures were published last year. Between the same 2012 to 2015, Osun's rose from 5.0 billion to 8.1 billion. Then rose to 8.8 billion last year. It's also worthy of note that it dropped from 8.7 billion in 2014 to the 8.1 billion figure in 2015. That means it basically saw little growth between 2014 and 2016. And my village is certainly not debt-ridden, worthless or unproductive. And Osun is easily more of a village than Anambra in every ramification. I have a lot of criticism for Obiano for a lack of vision, but he would comfortably rank in the top 10 of governors currently. With ease even with the mediocrity. Next time you want to engage in childish bragging, you'll be far more effective sticking to Lagos and Ogun. Then you might actually have a point of substance rather than shoving an insolvent state down our throats as a model of development. Osun State recorded a 10% increase in her Internally Generated Revenue, IGR in 2016,Who was disputing the data before? I was disputing the economically illiterate interpretation of the data. A 10% rise in IGR doesn't mean a 10% economic growth. It simply means a growth in the revenue streams of the government. Maybe Apple, Microsoft, Google etc have launched industries there. Maybe its regulatory agencies, transport and waste management agencies etc are making more money and taxing residents more. Maybe more agberos have been mobilized to extort transporters, traders etc. But it has diddly-squat to do with economic growth. Maybe Osun's economy has grown, but IGR figures reveal nothing about economic growth. |

Bro, can we be friends? Like be real friends? We can exchange contacts and talk more. No hard feelings. I hope u know what small scale and medium scale business is all about? Yes, that is what south east is known for mostly. Let's hook up. No hard feeling bro and stop using degrading words on someone. Is not worth it. |

Obi1kenobi:The only problem with your unintelligent rubbish is the fact that Aregbeshola commissioned more projects in his 7 years than the whole of SE (Since 1999) combined. If you really are bold enough, let us compare Aregeshola's 7 years with 18 years of SE governors combined? That's 7 years, 1 governor against 18 years, 5 governors. Unfortunately for you, I'm 1000000% sure you won't accept the challenge, it's going to be dancing around and coming up with mentally lazy and unintelligent excuses and dodging. Basically, that was a very silly and puerile rubbish on your part. [s]And please, quit the BS about the MASSIVE 10% IGR increase. There's nothing massive about it. Infact, my own underperforming state, Anambra expanded its IGR from 7.6 billion in 2012 to 14.8 billion in 2015. Almost double. For whatever reason, no figures were published last year. That means it basically saw little growth between 2014 and 2016.[/s]Another unintelligent argument and doublespeak. You ipobs love to talk about Osun's debt and how it's killing Osun state, but the same Osun state is not only still waxing strong, it's still commissioning projects and a breakneck speed with many major projects ongoing, and to top it off, the economy is growing and IGR grew bt whooping 10% Now, your own Anambra village with your shallow and pointless growth is basically handicapped and the only rubbish they've been able to do so far is the death trap and substandard rubbish in the pictures below. www.nairaland.com/attachments/5535356_cracks1_jpeg1d491ab30bff0af18de8dcc8ac3d8287 www.nairaland.com/attachments/5535357_cracks3_jpegfe073bd3110e1c3eaf2ee3d550600d8f www.nairaland.com/attachments/5535358_cracks2_jpegb7c83461acd888f4ec1780c44d5a5ddd www.nairaland.com/attachments/5535359_cracks_jpeg987e4c42e7eeb9b84d212523344a882d www.nairaland.com/attachments/5536748_br_jpegc8117c630082344e94d7be0bf2d0edc6 www.nairaland.com/attachments/5536749_capture_jpeg6d0ce43c2e6495dc5ba7597dd3872afd Village Class project in Anambra village.. ![]() This is the best project built by the best useless, incompetent and visionless village leader in the SE. When was the last time your worthless anambra commissioned anything meaningful? [s]And my village is certainly not debt-ridden, worthless or unproductive. Then you might actually have a point of substance rather than shoving an insolvent state down our throats as a model of development.[/s] Your village have debts? PERIOD. They also collect taxes and allocations with nothing to show so you really need to worry more about your villages. A 10% rise in IGR doesn't mean a 10% economic growth. And how do you obtain growth via expanded revenue stream without growth or expansion in the economy? Do you do magic or abracadabra to expand your revenue stream or expand your economy first to expand your revenue stream and source of income? I really hope you are not the smartest ipob in your village because if you really are, then they have a huge and domming problem. [s] Maybe Apple, Microsoft, Google etc have launched industries there. Maybe its regulatory agencies, transport and waste management agencies etc are making more money and taxing residents more. Maybe more agberos have been mobilized to extort transporters, traders etc. But it has diddly-squat to do with economic growth. Maybe Osun's economy has grown, but IGR figures reveal nothing about economic growth.[/s] Maybe, maybe maybe maybe maybe. Typical meaningless, ignorant and unintelligent ipob rubbish. You losers are always on NL crying over Osun state, screaming and yelling that Osun state is dead, Osun state is doomed, debt is killing Osu state, but confronted with massive commissioned infrastructures and even a stronger and improved economy, the losers are now saying maybe this, maybe that.. ![]() Suffer head ipobs.. ![]() |

deomelo:You can claim all the governors since 1960 combined can't match Rauf. Claiming something outlandish doesn't make it true, you know. I cannot accept stewpid challenges that waste my time. I know you have a lot of time on your hands for silly e-battles, but I do not. You can wallow in whatever delusion gives you greatest comfort. Another unintelligent argument and doublespeak.Oh, there are plenty more than that. There are 4 of those flyovers along Onitsha-Awka-Enugu road. You can keep giving us the close shot of a defective spot which has been repaired if it makes you feel better. Your village have debts? PERIOD. They also collect taxes and allocations with nothing to show so you really need to worry more about your villages.Yeah, my village with N50billion naira in FG allocated and internally generated revenue owe N20billion in debts, the 2nd lowest in the country, while the empire state of Rauf with N40billion in revenue owe N165billion. I'm sure the sustainability is equal to economic illiterates who equate IGR growth with economic growth. ![]() And how do you obtain growth via expanded revenue stream without growth or expansion in the economy?Every response of yours seems to include the word "unintelligent". You must very intellectually insecure. ![]() Expanding revenue streams may correlate with growth on some level, but can easily be policy driven. Higher taxes, more taxed goods and services, expanded institutions to drive tax collection, more aggressive fines and levies etc. If my father increases the rent of his tenants, it doesn't mean his tenants are making more money. I can't believe I have to break down such an elementary concept. You've always been a bitter, hateful, spiteful bigot, but for some weird reason I took you at least for a smart person. Stop embarrassing yourself asserting such twaddle. Osun state's IGR dropped from 8.7 billion in 2014 to 8.1 billion in 2015, then rose up again to 8.8 billion in 2016 and you've been here spouting the same horseshiit about the massive 10% rise in IGR. How the hell does that make sense to you?I'm guessing connecting communities like this in my village without bankrupting the state makes our village governor the worst in Nigeria.

As expected, I know you, jokers. You are always writing checks you know you can not cash and when asked to cash it, you start dancing and fumbling like a typical ignorant and unintelligent ipob. Thanks for admitting that Argbe commissioned more projects than all your 5 SE states combined since 1999. Again, repeating the same chest-beating, reetarded drivel that is too outlandish to seriously respond to doesn't make it true.Does this alter the fact that instead of the doom and gloom you evil wishing ipobs shout on NL every day, Osun is still commissioning projects ahead of the rest of the country and the economy even grew and as you put it, revenue stream expanded? And to top it off, Osun state is building what is set to be the best airport with the longest runway in Africa and in Nigeria while you and your lazy, incompetent and visionless village governors are begging like beggars for a common airport and common bridge. Sadly for you, Osun state is the least of your worries, the fact that you basically admitted that Aregbe delivered more projects than your 5 SE villages combined since 1999 should be your concern. Losers... |
