Does God Make Mistakes?? by EmperorHarry(op): 8:12am On Nov 04, 2017
As a kid i was made to believe that God never makes mistakes just like every other human who believes in the existence of God.
But as I grew older i became more curious,i started researching and trying to find out the truth in the basic things i was told as a kid. That's when it struck me that God actually made mistakes and lots of them otherwise he wouldn't be trying to correct the greatest mistake of all "the creation of earth".
Now most religious groups have one common belief that there's a new world after death for example heaven, followers of such groups are promised a better life and so many other benefits you won't get on this earth but in truth all this just leads to my theory the Earth was a mistake then.otherwise the creator wouldn't be looking for a way to fix this mistake by creating a new world without the current flaws the current world has.
Another reason for my theory is the story of Noah,a story that's very familiar with Christians reading this, reading this story when i was younger i never read to question what i was reading but reading this story i realized that God was trying to wipe out the things he had created. And there's no other interpretation to that than the fact that the story is clearly pointing to the fact that God was clearly seeing the things he created as a mistake...
Would have brought up other examples but I'll leave those out for now
So if your wondering why i wrote all this it's pretty simple. I need to hear different views on this particular theory cos I don't believe I'm 100℅ sure of this theory so if you have a counter theory I'm all ears cos i love learning new things...so feel free to educate me in the comments
Do not mind the way i presented this just try to understand the message behind it... And also I'm just a curious mind not looking to start any war so please filter your comments

good day, God created heaven and earth to house the humankind and jinkind for the purpose of test through live and death to see who be the best in service to him, Only in Christianity bible God regretted but in the real seance God made no mistake.

there is punishment attached with disobedient and reward for obedient to the rules, Noah people went contrary to the agreement and there were punished.

God doesn't make mistakes.
God had Plans at the Beginning, which were His Word, which was with Him in the beginning and finally Him.
There are Processes in all Plans. So those of God has three Processes, call them Stages of God's Development and Transmission of Light into Eternal Lite.
The Rebellion would have lasted beyond The Flood. God shortened it, not because of any mistake, but, for The Greater Glory of Redemption through Jesus Christ, The Way, The Truth and The Life.
We are now enjoying The second Stage and qualifying for The final 3rd Stage, The Coming back of Christ Jesus to establish The Heavenly and Earthly Jerusalems.

That statement of yours is the reason why people become atheists or simply irreligious. Are you implying that the reason why kids die prematurely of malnourishment or cancer is because God is testing whether they are faithful to him?

kids are sinless and for any of them with problem or pain is now a test for the parent bc you shall be worry over him and you will be rewarded for his well been and you will be punished for his maltreatment

How about the reverse, kids who lose both their parents and become orphans with no one to look after them. Is God testing their faith still?

Oh yes!

"Creating female counterparts for all the males of each (two-gendered) species, yet forgetting to make a female human until at least a day later.

Creating Eve out of Adam's rib, rather than out of thin air like his omnipotent self. First, the poor guy's missing a rib for the rest of his life.

Second, Eve was then made out of Adam, so all love from then on out was reduced to narcissism and all sex reduced to incest or self-gratification (i.e. sin).

Letting sin exist

Letting things on Earth get so out of hand that he had to wipe the slate and start over.

While he's wiping the slate, He simply refuses to wipe the slate totally clean. He has to save Noah and family for the next round of inbreeding, instead of re-creating humanity from scratch. This leads to the next round of wiping the slate known as the Great Tribulation

Going nuts because of the Tower of Babel, but doing nothing about Burj Khalifa, topping at 2,722 feet.

Forgetting to smite Abraham for his incestuous marriage to his half-sister Sarah.

Leading his people out of slavery in Egypt only to settle down in the only part of the Middle East where there's no oil.

Fathering a son through an engaged virgin (secretly, and without any prior notice to her fiancé) in open defiance to the laws he himself set back in Deuteronomy 22:25[2], and expecting her to be honored.

Writing the Old Testament and then having to send Paul and some anonymous latecomers revise it, leaving everyone thoroughly confused.

Forgetting to smite Himself/Jesus for working on the Sabbath.

Still failing to get his message across properly even after his Only Begotten Son had come and gone,[3] meaning that a few hundred years later he had to get some messenger called Gabriel to dictate[4] Version 3.0[5] to some bloke called Mohammed. And possibly another version 3.0 to some bloke named Joseph Smith about 1000 years later.

Telling us (through clergies) that we will be judged on how we decide to act in life, while designing the world around the idea that how we decide to act has been predetermined.

Allowing the Holocaust to happen, along with Stalin's Purges, Mao's Culture War, Pol Pot's Killing Fields, and 9/11 along with countless other atrocities"

Thanks for highlighting more glaring examples which i believe most religious people would still choose to ignore cos they don't want their fantasy world to shattered and see reality

Most of them would use the clear defence mechanism which I'm sure more people who question or mention things like this are familiar with "You're going to hell"
People don't like to be seen as different so they ignore things like this and follow the crowd...take whatever society tells them is true and never question it
But what most people don't know is that the greatest people that have ever lived questioned everything society stood for...for example Martin Luther King, Galileo Galileo etc.
Glad to know I'm not the only curious mind out there... Thanks again

when you look after an orphan your reward is special in the sight of God and for the kid himself his record are clean until maturity
