Hello everyone, can you please recommend a treatment for sore throat? I have been suffering this for over 5 days. The symptoms are, body pain, running nose, coughing and fever. I lost appetite and hardly eat. Seems i have bruises on my throat cos i can feel it. I have tried using procold, Alabukun and local herbs but my phlem remains thick yellow and my urine is yellow. How can i get rid of this? Please share your thoughts

It might just be symptom of an ailment, which can even be as simple a malaria. Best is to run medical tests at a lab. You can be relieving the symptoms first by taking grounded mixture of honey, garlic and ginger

Thanks. Someone said i should soak ginger and dried chilly peppers with gin and drink. He said it will heal the throat

I was banned by antispam bot all this while so i couldn't get in touch. I tried your method but the sore throat still persists with constant coughs. What can i do again this time?

No how you bought ncp and swallowed little by little and you are still feel pains done dre joined with cough, no way .Just go to a pharmacy center ask for NCP and medicine for tonsillitis (sore throat).
Drink enough water first, the chew the tablets given and open the capsule pour its content into your throat and swallow. Don't drink water after this.Thats y I said you should drink water first before taking the meficine.So this mecicine can touch the tonsil direct.
Tonsil is the affected area in the back throat.
No how you do this and won't get relieved. AT LEAST FOR 3DAYS, YOU ARE GOOD.

Obviously, you are having a throat infection with possible underlying upper respiratory tract infection. You will do well to go see your doctor for complete examination. Temporarily, you can take strepsil or dequadin. At least, either of these will hopefully gives a temporary relief. I wish you a speedy recovery
