It may be true. But, it doesn't mean that this charlatan is from or of God. The Bible warned us about them. They would perform signs and wonders but they are not from God.

For false messiahs and false prophets will appear and perform great signs and wonders to deceive, if possible, even the elect. (Matthew 24:24)

We are in the end time, my dear. How does one know these false teachers? The surest way to know them is by what they teach. The Bible says that by their fruits, you shall know them. A true teacher is to feed you with the Word and guide you through to spiritual maturity. It was never the role of a shepherd to tell you secrets of making heavenly wealth.

For the time will come when people will not put up with sound doctrine. Instead, to suit their own desires, they will gather around them a great number of teachers to say what their itching ears want to hear. They will turn their ears away from the truth and turn aside to myths. (2 Timothy 4:3-4)

They enjoy Adeboye telling them how he drove a car on an empty tank. They want to hear Oyedepo tell them how God did not bring down a plane because of prayers. They want to hear sweet stories rather than sound doctrines.
