Palm tree wood is the best but I don't know the cost different but been the best made it more expensive to buy and even to use as it gives the carpenters more stress before nails would penetrate.

No. We used coconut tree and its been there since 40 years now and strong... hard like that rod under my legs...

Using palm tree wood to roof a house? Never heard of it before....

In engineering there's study for strength of material, if you are building with bricks (which shows it's a modern structure), please do not use palm trees, the composition(bond) of matter in palm trees is not good for modern structures

Its a sustainable material, plus I am sure it will give your building a certain exotic look, except you would probably have to change it often unless its properly installed.

yea, it is very OK.... my dad use it. but make sure u use condemn oil to paint it before putting the zinc.
