Allow me to derail a bit...

I found it amazing that Prof. (Senator) Adeyeye, a staunch ALFA and a dedicated Muslim is actually married to a practising Christian and they have been living happily for decades.... This is astonishing.

That said, religious, tribe, affliations are inherited from fathers and great grand fathers....

Let's all afford to live in peace regardless of our tribe, religion, social affiliations..... Until we get to this stage of co existing as one, this country might not ever move to the next level of development.

Meanwhile, kudos to the most peaceful, non religious decriminating tribe on this planet (THE ODUDUWAS) where both Christians and Muslims see themselves as one and live together respectfully.

Don't get it twisted, i am a born practising xtian with plenty 1st cousins as Muslims but we remain one......EVER.

congratulations to PROF christiana Adeyeye. Go make us proud just as PROF DORA did but must be fearless just as she was... Make God bless her soul

I am from Christian home...but my wife's family are Muslims...YET...we are one.

we celebrate Christmas and Salah together.

in fact they are already planning to surprise us this coming Christmas.

Professor Moji Christianah Adeyeye, the wife of Senator Olusola Adeyeye representing Osun Central constituency at the National Assembly, has been appointed as the Director-General of the National Agency for Food and Drug Administration and Control, NAFDAC, by the Federal Government, Nigeria’s burgeoning online integrated media, ALEDEH can authoritatively report.

Professor Mrs. Adeyeye who is the founder of Drugs for AIDS and HIV Patients, a nonprofit organization committed to prevention, education, care and treatment of HIV/AIDS children in Nigeria, takes over from Mr. Ademola Andrew Magbojuri who was appointed as the Acting Director-General of NAFDAC in September.

How did she merit the position? Because she's a professor? Because she has an NGO or because her husband is a senator? Someone that has never worked in an agency gets picked as it's director general, is that how it's done? Except this report omitted the part where she has been with the agency for years, then this appointment makes absolutely no sense.

Truth be told , achievement of Dora can't be matched by anyone in that agency.

Don't tell me an Ibo man should have been picked cos Dora did well. You have one Dora from the east and nobody like her is there in the east living right now.

Give them agency to uead, and they'll go in concert with their kinsmen to produce and sell fake drugs while their brother at nafdac will put a blind eye.
Why should that be, you want another Easterner to be poisoned like Dora by the Easterner fake drugs barons?
