OP and Co plz just stop this nonsensical, blind arguments plz. I was at LTV compound today and saw thousands of people i later found out lagos state govt is recruiting for cleaner lagos initiative with salary of 18500 per month the crowd thr is uncontrollable over 100,000 applied some peeps even applied with MSc this is the same job u can do in America and earn at least $8 per hour without any certificate..70% of people running away from Nigeria has no choice, no job after graduation, no means of survival, no plan by the govt to empower people, u r ur own nepa, water corporation, ur security. Is it not better to pay bills and enjoy what u paid for? What some guys in America pays for electricity is not up to what some of us here use to buy fuel and we will still pay for unused electricity. What r we actually enjoying as a citizen of this country nothing. We hv no other country even if we travel surely one day home is home that's y we keep on praying for Nigeria. God bless Nigeria! |

eyinola:You are too local, read through posts before arguing. You think graduates are not doing menial jobs in US? Even PHD holder immigrants are driving taxis. Do you know that house rent for a room in US can be $1000 per month? So the person earning $8 per hr and working 40hrs per week is not better than those cleaners who will earn N18,500 and live in house of N80K per year or less. |

Pidgin2:In fact a man doing menial job in America and earning $8 per hr & working 40hrs per week will earn a total of $1280 per month. If he spend $1000 on house rent, he will be left with $280. Not to talk of other bills like Food, transport, insurance, electricity, cable etc Certainly a man with N18,500 job will be better of. |

kroger:All what you wrote down is just gibberish.you just expose that you are not really a smart person. The ACRP offers the designation of Certified Clinical Research Associate (CCRA). In order to become accredited as a CCRA®, the Clinical Research Associate must pass a CCRA examination in addition to meeting other specific requirements. Before taking the exam, the potential applicant must show that they "work independently of the investigative staff conducting the research at the site or institution," in order to ensure that the person will not have the opportunity to alter any data. The applicant must also show that they have worked a required number of hours in accordance with study protocols and Good Clinical Practices, including making sure that adverse drug reactions are reported and all necessary documentation is completed. The number of hours that must be completed performing these activities is based on the level of education achieved; for example, someone who has only graduated from high school must perform 6,000 hours, but a registered nurse or person with a Bachelor's degree must only perform 3,000 hours. You are the real definition of a liar, the way you reply answers just show the type of mentality you have, once you leave the chores of Nigeria you start bashing Nigeria and making Nigeria look bad forgetting you have relations back home, you talk like an illiterate and i know you are just a menial worker or illegal struggling all day to survive. inbetween Oracle DBA is granted only to functional database administrators. Our main argument from start wasnt that you shouldnt travel abroad but you shouldnt lie to us,you are the typical lying Nigerian living in the US,saying rubish to deceive others to come, then scam them of their money,i Know many of you. Nigerians before you travel abroad, ask experienced people so that you wont go and be homeless or poor.lets be logical in our thinking, nobody claims Nigeria is better than US but we should not be desperate enough to leave our good job in Nigeria, sell our lands and investment just to end up doing some stupid job in america because of what some liar have written on these forum,do your research well before you go.The hustle in real there too. And inbetween anybody that say PM me on nairaland when you ask a question about jobs/life in America and cant paste the real information on the forum is a scammer. |

efismikoko:Follow your mind and continue savings. Nigeria that inflation is eating up savings daily. I know graduates that earn as low as N30k monthly, I mean university graduate, while others earn 150k, 500k, ,750k, 1m monthly etc. We all have different taste and outlook to life. I have seen people whp earn 500k relocate to America and canada. It is your choice, ok. That your 250k monthly is change if you dont know, go to developed countries and see how people live normal life.In Nigeria, even the rich is still suffering. No constant light, no security, no good road, no good medicare, no good leadership, generator noise daily.....kidnapping and robbering, etc. The choice is yours, is your life. |

When Ipob people wanted a new country, a lot of us opposed them on the premise that we love our country Nigeria. Why can't we join hands together and develop our country cos nobody will do it for us; instead of these senseless emigration craze by our youths.I see no reason why people should attack the OP and pidgin2 for exhibiting national pride and love for country |

If the so-called American dream is REAL Then why are there growing number of Nigerians in America running away illegally to Canada thru land border? |
| Re: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by lionlee216(m): 2:23pm On Nov 11, 2017*. Modified: 2:43pm On Nov 11, 2017 |
Hardfacts234:The American dream is REAL!!! YES REAL !!! ![]() I am telling you this not based on what WE READ ON ONLINE but what is really happening in real world. People running from US to Canada are those people illegally in US or those with non immigrant visa(still legal) trying to PR asap. Like I said in the other thread, getting papers in USA is easy and one of the ways is to get married to USC(You have to make sure the marriage is real, getting papers through fraudulent marriage is a serious crime or offense). with that getting papers will be easy. secondly, illegals here do arrangee marriage which ranges from $7k to $15k excluding immigration filing fees, lawyers fee and some other tips. at the end of the day, the amount might rise up to $15k for those that did arrangee marriage for $7k. Now a question to you. will you spend up to $15k on fraudulent marriage when you see a means of getting PR in Canada by claiming asylum and you dont have to pay much money? Some agents here is USA can charge you like $2k to get you into canada and give you all the fake storylines you will give to the people in charge of asylum in Canada |

aspirebig:Guy I don't earn 250k but that's a lot of money for a fresh graduate and even a family man with one child. Kai 250k nigerians are funny people Bring your expenses here let's do the maths forget about drinks parties women etc just bring food, clothes and housing that's what a young man needs at the beginning of his life so he can save and invest so he can start earning extras for vacation drinks and parties. Well to some people 250k is bullshit but to me o that's big money big big money I can marry and have a child with that income and be happy See I dint start life with that income but bro I MANAGED and pushing every income into investment this is 12 years later I m settled now I can drink plenty expensive drinks go partying and live a comfortable life but I suffered in this lagos after school it's in the past now You can have happiness anywhere on this earth Well my saying if Nigeria no pay you please leave for greener pasture no one deserve to suffer the earth belongs to us all |

lionlee216:OK but for the fact that the US can't offer u what her neighbor Canada can give u is also another reason why the so-called American dream is a Sham. Don't u think so? |

kroger:He has been busted now. As faceless as he is online, ,he can still lie about his sex online, only God and himself know what other shady stuff he is into in real life if he can lie over minor online stuff . This same kind of people want us to stay in Nigeria where they are the one corrupting and destroying it with dishonest way of life. |
| Re: Lies Of Nigerians Living In America by lionlee216(m): 4:06pm On Nov 11, 2017 |
Hardfacts234:The American Dream is not a Sham...Some people in life dont have focus. some people are hell bent in getting other countries papers as long as it is not Nigeria. there are laid down rules before you can get other countries PR/citizenship. USA is also doing asylum but i GUESS it is meant for certian set of people. canada needs more people and hereby falling for all these storylines people tell them to claim asylum, maybe they have more "relaxed immigration policy/law" Believe me, If US is also falling for that kind of storylines people use to get asylum done in Canada, You will see Nigerians running to USA from Canada too. Lastly, An agent introduced this same Canada asylum runs to me through whatsapp and saying it will cost $2000 saying i will be responsible for airline ticket and other expenses. he said I will be given a Nigerian Intl passport(Fake) with fake Canadian Visa and once i get to Canada POE, they will surely detect my Visa is fake and there i will raise up my hands shouting, "I am being persecuted in Nigeria and I had to run here, Pls I want to claim asylum".. He futher said after being taken to their office or asylum camp, there will be some storylines he will give me and that will be all.. Here is USA, i have personally known up to 5 people to left US to enter Canada illegally BUT trust me, all they want is PR and not really the american dream. |
