Horrible. The America dream never existed it only exist in the minds of brainwashed Nigerians. Americans see nurses as less than average people. They are very far from being rich

The median African-American household’s net worth is just over $7,000, compared to white households with more than $111,000. Any Nigerian applying for a US. visa need mental check-up.

Blacks are less likely to own homes, get good jobs and less likely to pay for health insurance.

It is indeed a nightmare for most Nigerians who made the grave mistake abandoning a prosperous Nigeria filled with millionaires to become factory slave in the United States. Many won't be able to afford $1,500 ticket to visit this december why those who are capable saved for over three years for the trip. It is all mirage

Well presented facts? loooooool

Trust me you can always find information to fit whatever narrative you want.

If I want to prove Sudan is the greatest country on earth I can find so called facts on the internet that say that.

Just let people be, those who are suffering in the US they can always return to Nigeria if they feel there are more opportunities for them there. If they choose to stay and suffer then it’s their choice.

From the article you posted it reads The annual income threshold for being counted as living in poverty was $11,490 last year for a person and $23,550 for a family of four. that is about #8.5 MILLION Naira in Nigeria.. grin while 70% of Nigerians live less than 2$ per day cheesy

People won’t understand that this man is talking in two different perspectives.

First, you don’t have a reason to relocate to America to start over again from scratch if you are doing well at home. Can you imagine a lawyer doing well in Nigeria relocating? He can never even be able to practice in the US unless he starts over to study American legal system again in the university as against the British common law he is familiar with. Or else he will have to abandon practicing law for good.

Second, if you are just starting your life, you finish Nysc and no job, you have not invested so much in your career back home that you now want to throw away, America is the best place for you. That’s what this man is talking about .

I will not advise someone with a very good paying job to leave Nigeria. But the reason that someone will give you for leaving Nigeria is to secure a better future for his family as in better medical care, education. To have regular light and water supply in Nigeria is like a privilege. These are basic amenities everyone should have access to affordably. You shouldn't have to go and dig ground or buy generator for this.

It's a matter of choice.

People should feel try to travel and check out for opportunities in other plsces too..
A proverb said "you cannot stay in a particular place to watch dance well"
America is way better any day any time, naira has no value. What is 250k monthly for God sake if you have three children in universities and you have to feed them, clothe them, pay school fees, pay house rent, maintain your tokunbor car, etc.

People who are in their late forties are even relocating, though the younger the better.

I don't understand 250k must you have 3 children 1 my dear is good for that income pls take out 50k for your rent that's 600k you can get 600k 2 bedroom in an estate in ikeja good road use the 200k well and you will be fine
You guys want to live very big and careless in Nigeria but when you get to usa you want to live modest why don't you live the same life here and see how much you can save for other projects
I live in Nigeria I am fortunate to have a good income but I live very modest but still have the basic amenities of life 247 light water etc I have saved a lot to be able to do things
I can't imagine being paid 250k as a banker and leave for usa illegally to be nobody...my opinion sha o

Well I believe if you are not earning above 150k and you have the opportunity to leave Nigeria at a good age pls go you have nothing to loose the earth belongs to us all
