Don't serving governors enjoy immunity?
his brother was arrested by EFCC for receiving huge sums of money from GEJ, at the twilight of the last administration of Martins Elechi EFCC with the aid of Anyim Pius and Abuja forces froze the state and local government accounts crippling funding for the then labour party that's how he emerged easily, he wouldn't want to take chances

There's a lot of igbo culture being promoted within the igbo-British community. Have a look at the channel.

sad Just like the kano state government did for their youths, president Buhari should also distribute Tea, milk, egg and bread all over the south east so they can eat and abandon their biafra agitations. An hungry man is an angry man. It's obvious the biafra agitations is driven out of acute poverty ravaging the south east. Once buhari can succeed in feeding them, they will abandon biafra and also vote buhari in 2019. It works like magic cos those people are easily manipulated with little things unlike sophisticated Yorubas who are more tact and educated sad

Truly, governor umahi is trying in terms of infrastructures.

But the ebonyi state educational sector needs urgent attention. If it goes on like the way it is presently run, it will collapse finally.

I am currently serving in one of the 1st 4beat local governments in the whole of ebonyi state. And the whole local government cannot boast for more than 12 secondary schools. And all that 12 are nothing to write home about. No infrastructures, no equipments , nothing nothing. All the teachers do is sit in the staff room and gist from morning to dismissal, others just go to their farms on arrival in the morning . Now who will teach the students? The education is free, but of what use is a free education without proper training and teachings?

AS PRESIDENT BUHARI VISITS EBONYI...

By Philip Nweze

President Muhammadu Buhari will, early next week, join Ebonyi state governor, Engineer David Umahi to commission some of the mega projects that have changed the face of governance in the state.

The visit is a testimony to the landmark achievements in the last two years of Governor David Umahi as well as the good working relationship between Ebonyi state and the Federal Government.

Ebonyians are looking forward with excitement to see the presidential motorcade grace the smooth roads in Ebonyi land which are some of the governor's legacy projects... To see Mr President step his feet on the rich agricultural destination called Ebonyi. To see him rate the governor's rich scorecard in all spheres of leadership.

Feelers from the governor's office reveals that the President will commission three numbers of twin flyovers that are built across the African transahara Road running from Enugu to Cameroon passing through Ebonyi State, built to decongest traffic on that road, each of the twin flyover measuring 700 metre length. The governor has completed two and the third one is 80% done. Another project that would receive presidential stamp is the famous Ebonyi mall that is modelled after the famous Dubai mall. President Buhari is expected to lay a foundation stone of that mall which he will also come back to commission within the next 12 months.

The state government is also building a tunnel that dovetails into a flyover that is parallel to the existing flyover at Akanu Ibiam junction. And Mr. President is also to lay the foundation stone and that flyover bridge will be named after him. This project has 12 months completion period. There is also a federal Road that is 14.5km that the governor got the consent of Mr. President to build and the road is fully done. Also fully ready for commissioning is the18.5km road leading to the Federal University, Ndufu Alike Ikwo which was done with concrete and overlaid with Asphalt.

Worthy of mention too is the 15.5km of Nigercem that road passes through the first cement factory in the country which is in Ebonyi State and connects to Benue. The 15.5 km in the axis of Ebonyi built with concrete isready for Mr. President to commission. 23.5km of state road which the governor built with concrete is equally ready for Mr. President to commission.

As of today Ebonyi state government has completed over 500 km of internal roads which is ready for Mr. President to commission. As an Ebonyian, I believe we have the stadium we remodeled as another evidence of good governance, we have the best VIP stands in the whole country in our stadium which is fully air conditioned and all the stands are fully covered. Mr. President will also commission that.

Governor Umahi has also given a nod to a minimum of 30km of concrete Road in each of the 13 local government areas of the state; with most of them completed while some have attained 80% completion. There's the water fountain innovations, the mushrooms factory, the waist recycling plant, numerous Agric projects like the Solar farm and the green house farm at Ezzamgbo, the one man one hectare agriculture concept and so on. The governor has breathed life into major federal roads that were once death traps.

This grandmaster of infrastructure deserves accolades for his achievements. He has done everything that needed to be done by anybody occupying this position for eight years.

Governor David Umahi has not just developed Ebonyi State. He has laid the foundation for the continuous development of the state.

Ivo. Ivo consists of mile2, akaeze and Ishiagu. And Ishiagu being the biggest with more secondary schools, funny enough it has just 5 government secondary schools. With little or no infrastructures.

+ how can a principal of a school manage the schools properly when they come to school once or twice in a week . And those days they come, it is usually after 9am. Who will caution the teachers to go to classrooms and teach? And what authority do u have to do your job as a principal when u don't come to school.

Lol you have to calm down Mr. Corper. It's everywhere. Those days the principal didn't come to school, he went to meeting. They are always going for meeting. I actually went to a federal government school and we hardly even see our principal unless on our morning assembly that was held once a week.

It's not about the principal being around or not. Also, I don't think government schools are filled everywhere in a good state according to you. I served in Kano State and we don't have government schools scattered around.

The truth which you have highlighted is the lackadaisical attitude of teachers.

I am an Ebonyian and I love PMB. Dave wouldn't have invited him over if the good people of Ebonyi state weren't ready to receive our amiable President.

Go and die IPOB yoot. Don't near the boundaries of Ebonyi state tomorrow as PMB visits. Else Buratai will fall on you. Be warned.

PS: Buhari carry go. Ogbonnaya Onu and Dave will ensure you're reelected.

Last week, Ebonyi witnessed the presence of Osibanjo, Obj and now Buhari. Go and read the handwriting on the wall. Ebonyi has deposed Anambra as the darling of Igbo land.

Don't mind them. Ebonyi must tally with the central government in order to benefit from the good dividends of democracy that accrue to those in tandem with the FG. Allow them to play politics of bitterness.
Ebonyi has welcomed dear Buhari.

My dear. I can't wait for him.
I'm also anticipating the Ebonyi mall touted to be copied from the famous Dubai mall which president buhari will lay it's foundation stone kicking off the construction. Dave boasts buhari will also commission same mall project in 12months time.

With this mall, there will be an exceptional and international standard mall in ebonyi state since we lack Shop Rite.

Ebonyi gaa n'iru.

Yes, I won't fault on any of ur reasons. I also went to secondary school.

The fact that all those things do happen doesn't make it right.

What about infrastructures?

Secondary schools might not be scattered all over the local governments. But then, how do the governments improve on the education sectors? I think building enough schools to accommodate the masses and equipping them with good and working infrastructures and working teachers is one of them.

If u had followed my earlier post, I commended the governors works on infrastructures, I only wanted them to draw some attention to education. That's all.
