Hello people, I was denied based only on financial reasons, the V.O stated in GCMS note that he noticed a lump sum. I initially paid half a year of my tuition, but after my denial, i proceeded to pay the full 1 year tuition and trying to reapply. Would it be right if i include my previous visa to kenya in my old passport as i did not include it before and the V.O did not mention i have not travel out before, i only included my wife travel history to the UK and mum to. And apart from explaining the lump sum and paying full one year tuition fees how else can i prove my financial capabilities to the V.O Please note my study duration is 16 months |

eldee365:Yes, if you can get referenc letter for you one year work experience. However you would need a high score to get invited to apply for permanent residency. This score depends on your education, work experience, age, IELTS mainly. You are young hence you would score maximum point for age. Calculate what point you could score with your 1year experience here http://www.cic.gc.ca/english/immigrate/skilled/crs-tool.asp You can also read up everything you need to know about express entry here: https://www.nairaland.com/3999848/canadian-express-entry-federal-skilled I got my permanent resident approve in just a month. So many Nigerians are taking advantage of it. |

Why not? What is stopping you.... As far as it is a recognized and accredited university, you can use it. You probably have to apply for PhD since you already have M. Sc adesbaba: |

jnyuwa02:Okay thanks for your response. I have tried applications to some universities in the past but was not successful. Do you have any suggestions as to schools that the admission process may be a little easier to get? You sound like I may not stand a chance even in my next application cos of the omission. I didn't mean to lie or anything it was just an omission on my part. So u strongly advise that I should not reapply with the Pgd? Am also considering express entry possibly. Germany is our of the question for me as language is involved. |
| Re: Canadian Student Visa Thread Part 13 by jnyuwa02: 4:27am On Nov 13, 2017 |
SimmsK:Did you simply omit the question or you checked no in the column where it asked whether you have ever been denied a visa before? If you omitted the question entirely you might have a chance. Just explain in your next application that you didn't see the question. But if you answered no when your answer should have been yes, I am afraid we have a serious problem there. There is nothing you can tell them now that they will believe you. It's like the kid who shouted fire on his house when there was no fire. When they real fire came, nobody showed up. But you can try. If you do, apply with a masters as your GPA is good enough. Keep the same course as this shows progression in your learning or work experience. Make google your best friend. TRU, MUN, UNBC are some easier places among many places that accept second class upper in Canada. There are some universities in Germany where instruction Is in English and there is nothing wrong with learning a new language if it comes down to it. It's a good way to improve the part of your brain responsible for memory thereby preventing Alzheimers in old age. Best of luck! |
