Thank you, yes base on the decken. I noticed I ommited polyethylene sheet.

Leveling that is well done is key for a good parapet and roof.

Shortly after bamboo scaffold, we have to kick off with the fascia otherwise known as Parapet

the frontage looks will be wonderful with porches. However lets see how the porches will make the building better .

Why workmen finds it difficult to take safety measures in sites is what I can't just tell...


The brace support needed for the parapet are here, all we need are straight planks for this kind of fascia.

The block holes must be filled with some pieces of block.

Almost done with it but the earlier the casting the better so that the planks won't get bent by the weather, which will affect the shape after casting.

Parapet reinforcement is a way of chaining the parapet beam with a sizable millimeter bar to the centre pillars of the house.

Parapet reinforcement is key and should be observed in all parapet construction to avoid collapse.

....the parapet rings are made from 12mm bar, the beam is 16mm and the runners 10mm respectively.

We are done with parapet and under-deck Plastering, ongoing now is wall plastering.

With Yoruba plaster sand only, you are likely going to have several cracks on the wall but a mixture of Yoruba and sharp sand in equal proportion will give you a perfect plaster morter that will not crack.

Don't mind me sir, that is the common name down here in the Eastern part of Nigeria, but what I mean is mud sand.
