What that woman too came back to life? I stopped at the father himself been eventually done with and the child bla bla. It just seems like a series that will not have a definite and rousing end but go on and on.

I don't like such series, even the Vampire Diaries, I lost interest in it.

Definitely... TVD and The Originals are bed of the same feathers, movies like that lack the concept of continuity, so forcing new storyline only stain the integrity of the show, they need to stop it. It's shows like Grey's Anatomy and Supernatural that can survive continuity because they are based on real life drama and superstition respectively.
