such as man, according to Charles Darwin in the evolution of man..

Animals are fleshy and some serves as meat for food..

fishes are in a different world entirely.

In the real sense of it..

Fish is not an animal and some are not food..

some are monsters, some serves as food to man and other monstrous fishes...

However any land creature that has either hands or legs to walk are what i call animals..

Remember that fishes don't have legs or hands.

However, it is better to refer to the flesh of a fish as fish to avoid unnecessary complications.

For instance, it would be unnecessary to tell someone that you have meat in the fridge when what you have is the flesh of a fish. No one cares about correctness. Just avoid unnecessary complications. No one will kill you for calling the flesh of a fish "fish".

In summary, fish is meat. But to avoid complications, fish is fish.
