Saharareporters is projecting that incumbent Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra is set to win statewide polls held on Saturday November 18 2017 in Anambra State in the southeastern region of Nigeria. An unofficial Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) result obtained by Saharareporters shows that official tally of votes point to Mr. Obiano as the winner of the governorship election.

Sahara reporters is projecting that incumbent Governor Willie Obiano of Anambra is set to win statewide polls held on Saturday November 18 2017 in Anambra State in the southeastern region of Nigeria. An unofficial Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) result obtained by Saharareporters shows that official tally of votes point to Mr. Obiano as the winner of the governorship election.

As at press time, Mr. Obiano, who ran under the ticket of All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA), has comfortably won 13 out of 21 local government areas in the state. According to ballot tallies from polling booths across the state, the APGA candidate won in Aguata, Anaocha, Awka South, Ayamelum, Ogbaru, Orumba North, Ogbaru, Njikoka, Ekwusigo, Anambra West and Nnewi South. Saharareporters also projects that Mr. Obiano would carry Ihiala.

The candidate of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Tony Nwonye trailed Mr. Obiano while PDP candidate, Obaze Oseloka trail in a distant third.

Only incurable zonBs like Ngene...... Sar... Omen.. Madr..... Vadax..... (I know una know these people even if I don't mention their full names) will believe Nwoye abi Nwafor of APC will win Anambra. On what ground na? On the ground that Utom, Yeye Belo, statue governor Okoroawusa is doing great things in their states? Abi na the slowpoke at the centre who feigns ignorant of any crime he commits when he's nabbed red handed. Abeg make them clear road. The only and last state apc will control in the east is that useless statue governor's state. We can't be deceived.

obiano is generally expected to win.
2nd position for APC is a good result.
Especially putting PDP in a 3rd position a south eastern state below APC will gladen the heart of APC.
