Which of the c class Benz from1997to 2000 model is the best for fuel economy and durability,plz need ur help.

If cost will not be an issue go for d w203....2001 up.
They also come with different engines.
Go for d ones with naturally aspirated V6 engines... stay away from d 4matics and kompressors.

1994 - C180 for city no maf no sucking keys..but labours on the highway
C200 for combined...it has more power without necessarily being less fuel efficient.
But I will advice the w202 C240/C280 M112 V6

Seeing 'fuel economy and durability' are d key things for the op, and not power (v6) nor comfort,.....i will advise he goes for w202 face-lift, C180 or C200. Both are naturally aspirated i4 engines, target model year 1999, and preferably Europe spec.
w202 C180 or C200 is more fuel efficient than most Honda and Toyota u see around........
