So despite all the stories about ritual killings and all you follow someone you met on the road to an uncompleted building ....you deserve the fool of the year award

Was seriously waiting to read the part where you would say something like 'I am a typical JJC in Lagos'

But you didn't so my question

How many years have you been on planet earth?
How many years have you been in Lagos that you could fall so cheaply?
Re: My Experience With An Atm Swindler by ObaKlaz: 7:03pm On Nov 19, 2017
2008 stuff. I can't believe guys still run this obsolete format in 2017.
Re: My Experience With An Atm Swindler by dominique(mod):
That's how they would have carried you away and slaughtered you for rituals. With everything we read on the news these days, it beats me that someone can follow a total stranger on a strange quest because of a mere 5k.

So people are still using this dumb trick? They are all involved even the Okada rider. You meet some in taxi with their fake currency claiming they are from African countries and having bagful of dollars to change. Some claims to found the money at accident scene etc.

Once they start telling tales, tell them to try another trick or go for advanced course in the business . They will give you more gap asap

I had such experience at awka, when the first guy approached me asking me of somewhere I told him that I don't know the place, the second guy came and tell me that we should both help the guy and I said I don't know the place and he kept on begging me let's help the guy I became scared and started walking away they followed me small and finally drove away

Yesterday will ever remain an unforgettable experience for me.As i headed home from luth college gate, just as i advanced to take 'marwa' heading towards ilasa area just close to the 'okada' park a guy approached asking for directions to a particular place where they reset broken bones,i told him i dont know the place. He wwnt on to ask another guy as i was about to leave the guy he went to meet came back to me that the guy came from ado ekiti and he has a particular it that is being sought after by yemkem and is sold for 800k.

The guy told me that we should assist him and take him to the place that the guy may end up falling into wrong hands there loosing the entire 800k and the item,he further told me that we can collect 5k each from him.So we took two okadas to the back of luth gate(i and the guy that said we should help were on one while the guy that wants to sell was on the other)while on the bike the guy picked a fake call and told the person he was speaking with that he is on his way to the bank but my memory didnt snapped to the fact that it was a saturday and that it was already past 5.

We eventually got to a street,we now planned that we should say we are brothers.
i swear they have used same style on me 2013 in ghana

Same trick, I remember when I was still going to school, a guy approached me and ask for a particular hospital, I told him I don't know the hospital, but there is one at the front he can go there and ask.

He said, he is coming from ibadan and want to sell a drug that can cure cancer to them, immediately I heard that, I just walk away.

He walked pass me and met another guy at the front, I guess he went to ask the same question, so I walked pass them, before I know it they both hurried up to me, the guy he went to meet told me we should help him, cos he came from ibadan and have no where to stay and also want to sell a drug that can cure cancer.

When I heard that I just look at him with a strange look, in my mind I was like, I saw you at the front making call before the guy approached you and all of a sudden both you hurried up to me and said I should help him, just like that? Why can't you help him and leave me alone?

I told him I'm a student and can't help him, I left them there and walk away.
I thank God they didn't use any jazz on me while talking to them.

lolz @ poster lucky you , sorry for the 1k loss .same experience but i didn't give them the chance .there was this day i was on my way to church , couldn't drive so i took public transport, i was at the bus stop when one funny looking man came around asking for direction to a place i don't think existed, told him i dont live around and never heard of that name before ,then another guy came later asking me what the man was saying ,i didnt answer ,the first man still came back telling me trash on how he came from Cotonou and needed to deliver goods and if only i could help me he ll give me Brazilian hair and ladies shoes, infact that statement alone annoyed me .i asked him oga u be father Christmas he pretended as if he doesnt understand pigin language .i just hissed and walked away .. truth is "only a greedy person that ll fall prey of this tricks ". simple

I can't stop laughing at the bolded.
