lolz @ poster lucky you , sorry for the 1k loss .same experience but i didn't give them the chance .there was this day i was on my way to church , couldn't drive so i took public transport, i was at the bus stop when one funny looking man came around asking for direction to a place i don't think existed,told him i dont live around and never heard of that name before ,then another guy came later asking me what the man was saying ,i didnt answer ,the first man still came back telling me trash on how he came from Cotonou and needed to deliver goods and if only i could help me he ll give me Brazilian hair and ladies shoes, infact that statement alone annoyed me .i asked him oga u be father Christmas he pretended as if he doesnt understand pigin language .i just hissed and walked away .. truth is "only a greedy person that ll fall prey of this tricks ". simple

they just play on people's greed

They've tried it on me severally in Onitsha but i always ignore them.The latest one was just last month.

Nigerians are terribly greedy. For a miserly 5k..It's amazing the kind of tricks Nigerians fall for just for a small amount that won't last a minute. Poverty is a disease.

as we were going, the guy at back ask the driver if he could drop and take bike at central area.
*** my first note. how could u say u want to take bike at central area.
so the driver just replied while facing me that d guy had foreign currency in d boot and I should join them and share.
meanwhile I was observing their moves the moment i entered cos I was suspecting them.
I.driver was on dread with red eyes
ii.the Lady was on short with id.who wears Short to work?
as we got to a traffic light i just opened d door and slammed it.they drove off with speed

I fell victim coz I don't know fayose market and I was going dere. the story looks alike.

I had similar experience .. I was in 100l.. around orile .cming bk frm sch.. a guy approached me dt he was a ghanaian and was in nigeria for a business dt he got robbed but his laptops were in an hidden place dt he needs to get it sold so he can have money and go back..nd he needed my help cos he dint want to get duped.. while talking another man join mouth to persuade me into doing it I knew na scam nd was very hungry..lol..naso I leave dem waka.. d new dude kept on calling me dt we sud help him dt we wud get our share. i ignored

He now asked us to stand up he brought out something that looked like a dried seed,recited some incantations on it then used it to hit our stomachs,it now looks as if it entered inside us.He told us that we have like four hours to go home to bring our atms and come back because of the efficacy of the charm that if it has passed that we would start vomitting blood.He asked how much do i have left i told him nothing he brought 500 from the 2500 i dropped and told me to go and come back.He said i should leave my phone that was wen i snapped back to reality,i reached for my money,i was able to take back 1k,i reached for my phone we started to struggle,my phone fell inside water i eventually got it out,he gave me a slap i shouted then i ran away.

bro I know these guys you fell victim for, am sure the street they took u to is around that ishaga road, opp the mosque at that mushin area. The whole setting was wah they used for me too, I lost ma iPhone and my ATM card(tho I gave them the wrong pin). we all dropped our gadgets n ATM cards on the floor, after the incantations, the two guys playing the script acted like they wanted to pick up their stuffs and that was how I picked mine up and the so called Baba said that I have brought an evil wind upon myself and that it was heading home to kill ma old man, out of the #500 with me, he gave me #50 as transport to rush to ma house and bring ma laptop and other valuables. the stone tin too, I experienced it. The guy called himself "Babalawo"

This is a very common trick... Even in Akure .
Can't believe u fell for it. The three guys all knew each other but u were the middle man. All unto say u wan reap where u no sow
