Edo state is simply cursed beyond redemption!

Edo state is number 1 for cultism,

Where won't you find cult activities and killings in Edo state?
They are in Ekpoma, Uromi and Auchi
They are in Ugbowo, Usen, Ekiadolor
They are in Uselu, Upper Sokponba and Okhoro.
They are in the Palace, Motor parks, markets and government house.

There is no amount of protest that will curb the menance because every aspect of Edo state has been infiltrated by cultists.

USA is a very advanced society, go and look at the history of gang killings in cities across the country from LA, to Chicago to Atlanta to New York.

Either people protest or not, those with ego problems who are bent on killing each other will still find a way to do what they came to the world to do.

There are several members of these Nigerian cults frats who are productive members of the society locally and internationally. Cults Frats or not, some individuals are still very caught up in the pre-social contract stage of human relations development, they will always find an excuse for violence, mayhem and murder.

When I was a student, there were rumours that they settled the boys to prevent them from doing the killings on campus and restrict it to ekosodin and environs. Edo State government cannot help.

Edo state as a whole needs a total re-orientation, revamping the hopelessness of its male and female youths wallowing in helplessness and joblessness.
Most parents in Benin have forgotten what it means to be called a parent.
At a the young of a child it is the sole responsibility of the parent to cater for his or her ward, providing the core basic necessities for the child like Good education, Shelter, feeding and health care; but what we find now is that children at a very young age take it upon themselves to cater for their lazy ass parents who louf around attending weddings and burial ceremonies.
You find children engeging in a forms of social vices like prostitution, drug peddling and addiction, fraud, cultism which culminates into various forms of crimes e.g robbery, killing, rape and all what not.
On one occassion during my visit to Benin city i told a friend of mine who we both attended secondary school together that there was no toll gate in Benin preventing him from exploring new horizons, but what struck me was that parents in Benin still breast feed their children at the age of 35 even 40.
Parents should adopt the U.S system where after a child has been trained through university and have attained the age of 18-20yrs should be ejected out of their parents house and if such a parent is so benevolent could give that child a start up fund ( say 1 year house rent, feeding for 2-3months and transport cost for 6months) to kick start his life.
As for the government, they should create an enabling environment that would stimulate the mental and physical tenacity of individuals, promote entrepreneurship and easy accessibility to soft loans and periodically engage masters of industry to have talks with these people, as this will help boost the confidence levels of the youths.
Its very sad to hear of Edolites engaged in Prostitution outside this country and watching illegal migrants drowning and been sold as slaves in Libya (as been reported on CNN 19/11/17) which has spawned a full scale investigation by the Libyan government.
Agriculture, IT, Transportation of goods and services still proves to be the highest generator of labor.
Please my leaders of Edo state let us save the lives of our youths and promote the good culture of our great Edo people, we are not criminals nor are we prostitutes or drug peddlers rather we are a proud race of Africans.
