...the window is open. Ac is on, so the widow is supposed to be closed

on second thought, he killed himself cuz there's a pistol on the floor close to his right hand & probably the fleeing guy overheard the gunshot & got panicked.

Exactly....it seems he shot himself by the right side of the head while the blood splashed against the wall where the AC is located...someone is running after hearing gun shot..
