My dear i don't no occupation a geology degree can assess just bear in mind that ACS is strictly computer stuff . you need to find occupation closely related to what you studied not just any occupation to avoid negative outcome.

I was nominated by Queensland not NT and both state require you show proof of fund i will advice you calm down read from page 0-10 to understand the steps first

All of these is less than 1.5M.
And ppl have bought tix for less than 400k through IOM here..
So yes. 2M will do

I am tempted to say you knew that already.
but if you have been in IT for at least 6 years and have a BSc, then you can go the RPL route.
I mean 6 years post graduation (though you can include your work experience from university - like Internship, NYSC).

900k? That is probably a return ticket of the likes of Emirates, someone that didn't even use IOM got a return ticket of about 650k in October South African Airways.

Please, how did you show proof of funds? What exactly are they looking for? The cash itself? or assets?

Both but you need to know what is required by the state you intend to nominate make google your best friend.

To all newbies please note that with 189 you don't need POF, it applies to someone seeking state sponsorship for either 489 or 190.

Also some states like NSW,VICTORIA, SOUTH Australia don't need POF.

Sorry to digress,my intended skill which happens to be under 190 and 489 visa subclass.....the only state offering my skill is western Australia and they require at least 3 years work experience meanwhile all these while I have been hoping to come in next year because vetassess requires at least one year work experience for that skill.
I have already declined some job offers I had which might run into next year before finding this out and I really need to somehow be in Australia next year so now it's a dilemma for me.
So now brethren the question is...is there a way round this work experience requirements,
If there is not then is there a way I can use a menial skill like a painter to get visa and then swap in the country without a qualification or certificate of painting ,of course I also paint but not on professional level and don't have any qualification.

If there is not then someone suggested if I was married I could have my wife apply and then add myself to her visa(whatever that could mean)....sadly I'm not married but is there a way I can find a single lady immigrant and enter as her husband(please don't laff,I'm serious here)
My points are all okay from speculations

Qualification:I learnt that's 15 (because I did a 6 years course)
So I don't really need the work experience points.
Please suggestions are desperately needed.
