ITS OFFICIAL!!!!!!!!!...

LADY K will now be known as Mrs K...

This time yesterday morning, i was so nervous.

it is 5:25am right now. Waking up in our hotel room this morning, i keep smiling watching her sleep, her hair coiled over her face and her 'backside" positioned so that when she farts, the diffusion starts right from my side of the bed grin grin grin. Well, i signed up for this. I haven't seen changes right now except this round, golden looking metal on one of my left hand-fingers closest to the left pinkie finger.

Life is good grin.

I have a plane to catch later in the evening.. short trip (pics definitely)
Congratulations!!!Wish you guys a blissful married life.Should we come visiting,9months from now?

I bought another property in Nigeria. It cost me 7kUSD. It is my 2nd property since i start to dey hustle for this yankee.
I wasn't planning on buying it cos i never thought the transaction will go through. The seller agreed and it went through yesterday.
It totally forgot cos like i said, i wasn't planning of buying it.
Mrs K found out this morning (my dad called me). Telling me the total and the balance. She was so upset i kept something like that from her, then she got upset i spent 7k on a property when we could put it towards buying a house here. She got upset i'm "building" a property in Nigeria that i don't plan to live in. She got upset that maybe i wanna take a wife in Nigeria and my family knows about it, she got upset about every possibilities.

I apologize and explained everything to her, she's calm now. And now, i am the one upset for her putting me through all those explanations. I am really upset. Na my own shakara time now.
Congrats on your new property.Should you wish to develop that property of yours, you might wanna check this thread out. It's content might be of interest.

boss. I like you. Congrats on ur successes so far. More power to ur elbow.

Am in Qatar now. Earning good pay as a Safety personel. However qatar is a hot, muslim country and even tho its fast developing, there are still mega restrictions and lack of openness and most jobs here are in construction cos its a developing nation. If Construction finish? Then no more work. I cant be here when that happens. I need to move and it has to be U.S cos no matter the country I move to, if its not U.s, i wont feel settled. And by move i mean move to u.s forever. No more coming back to Naija. Raise american family, live and die in america.

What are my options. How best can i come to u.s. Am late 20s, single, bsc holder, smart have about 2mil naira in savings so far. Wanna move from qatar latest 2020.

Thanks in anticipation and congrats again

You have no idea what it takes to be in an inter-racial relationship. You can't even speak your tribe on phone without being suspected. You can't excuse your partner to go receive a call away from them.

Don't forget Mrs K is quite a familiar person to the family and would always want to know what's going on with them, how can BlowJobs all of a sudden starts conversing in his tribe? BTW is there a name for the 'dollar' in local Nigerian languages?

Please stop critiquing BlowJobs posts, if you can't share your experience leave others to do so peacefully. We are all learning from his experiences and we wish him all the best.

You owe no one explanation bro. They don't understand what it takes to be in an inter-racial relationship.

BlowJobs:

Like i said earlier on this thread. Mrs K and my dad talks almost everyday.
Funny thing is my dad didn't call me to tell me he finally bought the property. He called to wish my wife a happy married life then used the opportunity to inform me of the transaction (bad timing).

@BJ, big congratulations on your wedding...thankfully it has come and gone now,you can now focus your mind on things that matters....making your marriage works cos from some of your posts recently,it's obvious you would need extra efforts to keep your marriage going..I said this because irrespective of where you married from,no woman would like that you said happened (investments back home) and would be happy, remember you once said her colleague has been trying to turn her against you,it won't stop there just because you are now married,so pls do more to solidify your relationship.
Secondly,I would advise you focus more on investing where your family is at this time so you don't let the woman start attaching any truthful approach to what she has been hearing.
I work in the XYZ,(if you know what that means),Pls know today that any investments you do anywhere on the surface of this earth equally belongs to her if not entirely,so invest wisely.(hopefully I get to talk privately with you soon).
In all,you just entering a new chapter in your life which can have an adverse effect on what comes out of your life in the US,so all your thoughts, deeds and prayers would have to center on how to make your family succeed and not that wild feelings either of you can just wake up one day and decides to take a walk
.it's not gonna be your portion IJN...it may not end well..pls take heed.
It's well with you.

Congratulations BJ, wish you all the blessings that comes with getting married. I have been a silent reader since inception and I have truly gained so much experience from your thread. Through reading your thread, I have gone to register for GRE and I have also learnt that self confidence and believe is all it takes to make anything happen. Thanks a lot bro because you have changed perspective to several things.
Most importantly, I applied for B1/B2 visa last month along side my Dad and my other siblings and we were rejected but my dad was granted visa. I took up the challenge and re-applied for myself and my younger sister after first experience at the embassy and lots of hours going through the thread. There was no available date for interview again both in Lagos and Abuja so I called the embassy through someone's help to get us a date and fortunately, we got scheduled for today 9:30am.
To cut the long epistle short, I was solid strong inside of me to go all out and convince the consular on reason why I have to be granted a visa. After much questions and debate, MYSELF AND MY SISTER WAS GRANTED A VISA!!!!....I am just so happy right now.
Thank you BJ and every other person that has advised, suggested and rebuked certain actions. I am a beneficiary of your wisdom...God Bless you all...

ya sure. There is no Qatar embassy in Nigeria, so u need to either find an agent in Lagos who know about Qatar or find somebody in Qatar u can trust. Visas are applied by sponsors in Qatar. so the agent should link u with a sponsor. If he know what he is doing then you wont even know all these process. Just pay him and wait for him to conclude the process. denial or approval can take up to 5 months sometimes. Price is not fixed and can be up to 1.5 million. If ur visa comes out, u would print it from moi.gov.qa and head to airport. when u come into qatar, u first do ur resident permit. ur sponsor would apply for u. it should cost about 200k. with ur resident permit, u begin look for work. work is not easy to find for nigerians, but work dey the country sha. I got mine tru a friend, besides, I already did a safety course in nigeria. so am working as a safety inspector here now in a construction site. making sure unsafe acts are not being done by laborers. pay can be between 300k naira to 2 million naira a month. however these jobs only last as long as the project lasts.

We applied as a family the first time. The consular only granted my dad visa (The elderly are easily granted visa) and denied myself and my siblings (Stating we do not have strong ties back home). I took up the challenge after going through this thread and Yes!!! I re-applied within a month because it was my first time then and I wasn't experienced and was kinda scared.
Nothing changed in my documents, the only thing that changed was me. A new me, a more experienced me, full of boldness and ready to question the consular for rejecting me visa and a better way to present my story for him to see reasons why I should be granted visa. It worked!!!
