My prayer for today is that any body still planning to vote this government is the greatest anemy to this country and it shall never be well with such people.
Am so happy for those Judges and others who have been raided by this government and are still alive today. If anything had happen to them, this foolish senseless aimless group of people call apc will simply deny they have raided sich person. I am a senior citizen but from my youth to date, this is the government I so much dislike. Sometimes, if it is possible I like to line all of them up and PLUG one eye each, one ear each and all tooths and further give them life jail terms. Very useless set of animals. How on earth can this government win any case? Improper inflow of money.
nawa o

buhari don suffer grin this one managed to drag the government into a private citizen's fraud case again cheesy

It's sayz, he belonged to a syndicate that duped such..
If he belonged, what part did he playhuh
Etim, 30, who is said to be a member of a syndicate of fraudsters operating in the Lekki area of Lagos, among other alleged offences, obtained the sum of $4,000 USD from a victim in Singapore, after posting a dog for sale on an online platform.
read the sentence again. It wasn't the syndicate that duped the victim or posted the image of a dog for sale, it was Etim. And being a member of a criminal organisati0n warrants an arrest if authority catches the pers0n. Its just like saying police shouldn't arrest s0me0ne linked to bokoharam becos he hasn't been caught with a b0mb. Or s0me0ne who's a member of a kidnap or robbery gang.

bros don't disgrace your alma mater na.

if you live above your means abroad you will be investigated. it's not only in Nigeria. stop encouraging fraud.
To start with, answer these questions honestly. Have you ever crossed border outta Naija before? Have you been to a foreign land before?
If yes, do the Police over there stop individuals for no reason just because they see them drive cars or dress well like the Naija police do?

I have been to the US and i know what I'm saying. Before they can arrest anyone over there, they might have probably gotten some tip offs underground about the individual or make some good investigations and enquiries underground first..... so its you who shouldn't disgrace yourself here capiche?

One of the factors responsible for the reckless chase of filthy lucre is the new senseless need to flaunt lavish lifestyles, no matter how fake or unsustainable, on social media. And this is because of the nigerian mentality that you're worthless unless you're filthy rich.

No thanks to our yeyebrities who surprisingly are all billionaires buying cars and private planes every hour, even the ones who've never released a single worthy song or acted in any blockbuster movie that earned hundreds of millions.

They imprint on the gullible youth (eg Airforce1) who'll suddenly develop the misguided prayer point "baba god pick my call", forgetting how hard it is to be rich and how easy it is to steal it or fake it.

And the end always justifies the means...
The post would have made perfect sense without the needless shade on Airforce1.

How is it needless?

He's the perfect example of the point i was trying to make. The man has his head so far up E-money's ass only his feet show, and all his slavish posts are designed to lull young people into a sort of hero worship, and establish a cult of personality for a showboat of dubious means of income.

That's the problem with our society: obsession with someone else's lifestyle no matter the dark and murky story behind it.

stagger:
You non-tithe paying fool, who told you that we pay tithes to become rich, or that riches are made from paying tithes?

Is riches all that a man can aspire for in this world?
Your pastors are fabulously rich.

They made their wealth by asking you to give them your pittance and cross your fingers for divine blessing in the form of prosperity, otherwise you're cursed and are a beggar.

That's the gospel they drum into your remarkably thin skulls.

And how do they get you lemmings to fall over yourselves giving them handouts? By telling you that they walk on air, raise the dead, cure the sick.

Meanwhile they live large with their Daniella Okekes while you look into the heavens every night thinking your pastor is hard at work trying to get you that promotion, that jumbo pay, taht sudden wealth that materializes out of thin air.

And when you get impatient they tell you you're under spiritual attack and to bring even more money or sow more seed.

Your jesus lived and died a poor man and never even rode the best donkey in town.

But your pastors are richer than god and use your tithes to buy planes, trains and automobiles, and keep high-flying comcubines and all you're left with is a depleted bank account and a prayerful hope.

And yet I'm the fool, right?

Abeg the dude should should hire better lawyer, if he is "Said" to be a member of a fraudulent syndicate, then provide a material witness...

Afterall, we have so many wealthy men that their source of Wealth is not known...
Consequently, Justice Oyefeso ordered the suspect to be remanded in Kirikiri Prisons and adjourned the case to February 18, 2018, for a hearing of bail application.
Some of these our Judges dont have the fear of God at all or maybe this Judge Oyefeso is high on Drugs!
The guy is charged to court already.
He has a lawyer who can stand bail for him
The offense is bailable.
His Lawyer has applied for Bail.
But because it is a "High Court", the bail application has to be read on the floor of the court.

Now, since the man has not been proved guilty (therfore presumption of innocence exists), why would you remand him in maximum prison for three Months (till february 18!), just to hear the bail application?
What stops you from giving that an accelerated hearing, say 'next day or week' so that you don tpunish him if it turns out that he is innocent?
This is just sheer wickedness on the part of this Judge and we all know that they are also criminals themselves.
Shame on Judge Oyefeso

Can't you see how ridiculous it is to judge someone on a faceless forum based on the strength of a number of his threads, which ostensibly are created for 'likes' and 'mentions', as well as the little bit of controversy that would garner him the popularity he craves on here? And at that he doesn't outrightly support known fraudsters in the ilk of hushpuppi like some members here do, so I wonder what your grouse with him is.

I'm just calling you out on your specific mention of the guy in question, let's leave it at that.

As much as I don't support what the "idiot" does for a living, he is innocent until proven guilty.

Imagine adjourning the case to Feb 18, 2018 (three months from now) just for bail hearing.

This is wickedness & the judge should be ashamed.

Can you imagine such watery and nonsensical charges? How is it a crime in itself to have several inflows of money into one's account in spite of not having a "stable job"? And which law makes a person culpable for not being able to "satisfactorily account for" money in
his possession?

The EFCC is full of retarrrds and barely literate nincompoops, mostly of Northern origin. This is why the agency is so clueless and inefficient. Instead of you to carry out thorough investigations and gather water tight evidence, you would conduct stupid raids and charge people to court for flimsy reasons. After you would blame 'corrupt judges" for your inability to secure convictions.

stop arguing like an illiterate. did the police just stop him on the road? he defrauded someone of $4000 dollars by posting pictures of a dog for sale online. that must have prompted the investigation into his account and he couldn't defend the kind of money he has. travelling doesn't equate to intelligence.
it's standard practice all over the world that once you are caught for one fraud offence you will be investigated and told justify your standard of living and account balance with your income.

No i won't leave it at that, because my point was made precisely because of people like him.

And no he doesn't kiss emoneys yellow ass because of internet notoriety; he does it because of the stench of money around emoney, an impression the dubious man perpetuates through the likes of airforce1.

We wouldn't have known of Hushpuppi and his merry band of brigands if it wasn't for fanboyism on twitter and Instagram in the ilk of aircrap1.

If we're going to insulate our impressionable youth from obvious fraudsters and a fake lifestyle then we must perforce denounce their drones and paid hacks.

And you should stop being a stark illiterate too before you quote people to spew nonsense with ya fingers. Yes, i read the part that says the dude was arrested for defrauding a Chinese of 4000$ for dog sales and i know that's fair enough. My initial post wasn't in anyway related to that part at all.... I only replied to the part someone quoted and talked about. That part that says they realized the dude has no reasonable source of income buh he has inflow of money in his account. That particular part was what the person i quoted was talking about and i also replied in support of that before you suddenly jumped in without proper understanding like a total stark illiterate.

And FYI, the Nigerian Police, SARS and others arrest people unjustly even without having any justifiable reason for that. We've read and heard different stories of how innocent individuals are arrested on daily basis while going on with their daily business activities. Few days ago, a news was posted here about a man who was arrested by SARS on his way to work and was punished for nothing and his time wasted too.

I have a feeling you're either a SARS or Police official or related to one or some of them. I don't feel sorry for all i am saying and i still put it to y'all that you're a disgrace to the country. Now nigga bounce off my mentions and stop quoting me..

Stop spewing rubbish. It's common practice in law enforcement in every civilized country to query and investigate the source of one's wealth when they are implicated in a crime. Nigeria is not even close to the US when it comes to indiscriminate asset forfeiture from law enforcement based on little solid evidence of a crime. If you're merely suspected of being a drug dealer, fraudster, money launderer etc in the US, several arms of law enforcement whenever they feel like it can basically freeze and seize much of your assets and ask you to come explain how you came about them.

A rotten cesspit like Nigeria needs such liberal applications of the law even more than the US does and should be encouraged.

Meanwhile our girls, even the ugly and done-for ones, just want someone to magically appear from thin air, give them cars, marry them in a lavish wedding, give them more cars, take them shopping to dubai and paris, and give them even more cars.

No one wants to work hard to earn a decent living to be proud of. Everyone wanna get rich overnight..

All for the mighty Instagram.

And Daddy Freeze wonders why conmen ooen churches and demand tithes.

Well you tithe-giving fools parting with your meager income for your pastor to make you rich:

the richest man in Africa ain't a christian.

Bill Gates is an atheist.

Larry page is an atheist.

Steve Jobs was a zen buddhist.

Warren Buffett is an agnostic.

Mark Zuckerberg was raised jewish, became an atheist, and is now a buddhist.

Michael Bloomberg is jewish.

Larry Ellison is an agnostic jew.

Wang Jianlin is atheist.

Jack Ma is agnostic.

Mukesh Ambani is hindi.

What do these people have in common? They're among the richest men in the world.

I guess your god is very carefree about blessing people who don't even believe in him.
