DanseMacabre:
Different medical practioners, especially dentists, have always opined that your toothbrush should be changed every three months.

However, I've noticed that most Nigerians are guilty of disregarding this oral health tip and by so doing indicate caring less about oral hygiene.

This includes yours sincerely, because my last toothbrush lasted for six months or thereabouts grin

So let's be truthful: how often do you change your toothbrush?

3 weeks - 1 month maximum.......(once the brittles starts getting misaligned)

I found myself buying toothbrushes often. Not because a dentist recommends so but because of personal reasons.
Got one on Monday and this was replaced by a 2week-old brush. It just happens.
The older ones are still present though cheesy grin

I rarely pay attention to that. I replace when I feel it's no longer good enough or when I misplace it.

STOP!

Hello to you reading;

Let's leave aside the politics and celebrity talks for now.

Let's discuss us.

Truth be told, the Government can hardly cater for most of our needs; are we agreed on that? You can check the news articles for November, if in doubt.

Peter Drucker rightly said, "The best way to predict the future is to create it."
Now, if we both agree on that, I'll like to invite you to join us in creating the future we picture- the one where our Africa can

There are several problems- http://www.smallstarter.com/get-inspired/how-to-make-money-in-africa-by-solving-problems/- that endanger human existence in Africa, but there are also all the resources Africa needs to be prosperous right here in Africa. The missing link is definitely in the poor management of our human and material resources.

Problems are not an opportunity to lament and vent our frustration; they provide an avenue to create solutions that can be rewarding for you and others. Like the fellow who took it upon himself to go and ship in Tomatoes into Nigeria from Cameroon during the last Tomato glut, while others sat there and wailed over the problem.

Truthfully, the biggest challenge holding many seemingly brilliant business ideas we African youths create is not the funds to get it started, but the fact that we do not have the right tools to make it sustainable or there are latent defects in them. There are several grants and equity investment funds out there, but no reasonable person just throws their money around.

In this piece https://tagnaija.com/startup-funding-in-nigeria-what-investors-look-for-in-a-startup/, you might discover that is true. But as stated there, a good team might just be what your idea needs to soar.

Steve Jobs opined, "Great things in business are not done by one person; they are done by a team of people". Alfred A. Montaper also added, "All lasting business is built on friendship".

If we combine our knowledge, skills, willpower and enthusiasm, I believe we can build a truly Pan-African conglomerate that can drive the economic growth and development of our potentially great continent.

Hustle should not compulsorily take you overseas; knowledge acquisition and capacity building can. The real hustle is here- in Africa. If one man could hustle to lay the foundation of the Dangote business empire, imagine what our collective efforts can produce.

I am making the case for a paradigm shift. So I am calling on the bright minds, the reformers, the thinkers and doers, the smart but legit hustlers, the gifted hands, the goal-getters; I'm calling on the game-changers from all across Africa to get onboard to strategize and get down to the business of PRACTICALLY leading Africa out of the economic abyss to a truly prosperous continent.

Enough of lamenting over the shortcomings of Government and the cruelty in the job market, join "The Meld" discussion platform here https:///5XaZBdy5BLCEUNm0ZbBTWa. The golden rule of this place is to be POSITIVELY ACTIVE. To ensure we remain faithful to our purpose, we have put together a tentative advisory council, comprising senior and experienced members of the society. Of course, there is enough room for additions. Yes, we mean business!

For the ones who prefer to be passive and just like to OBSERVE, please get into our information centre https:///ARoyVd2INf2APnB4mbxsbr and be the first to hear the news break.

Remember, the platforms are open to Africans home and abroad inspired to make a difference. Friends of Africa are also welcome.

Africa is waiting... are you ready?

My name is Taofeeq and I believe in Africa. I look forward to seeing you on the other side.
TF... this is long

This is actually a very important thread.
Most tooth decay and toothache is due to this. Over use of brush makes it nothing less than a foam.
Read about this, Op thanks for this.

Most Nigerians have mouth odour because of poor hygiene practices, they can use a toothbrush for a whole year and even more without thinking it’s abnormal. That’s why the poor toothbrush would be frayed and overused and ineffective also.
