When the army openly accepts the mentally disturbed after throwing out the welcome mat for homos and illegal immigrants you know the manpower levels are horrible! For overs a decade US manpower levels have been decreasing and have now reached crisis point. WASHINGTON – People with a history of “self-mutilation,” bipolar disorder, depression and drug and alcohol abuse can now seek waivers to join the Army under an unannounced policy enacted in August, according to documents obtained by USA TODAY.https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2017/11/12/army-lifts-ban-recruits-history-self-mutilation-other-mental-health-issues/853131001/ Manpower, not money, may prove a bigger challenge to President Trump’s hopes to rebuild what he calls a “hollowed-out” U.S. military.https://www.washingtontimes.com/news/2017/jan/22/trumps-hopes-to-rebuild-military-threatened-by-man/ Imo,the terrible REAL KIA figures of 20K+ from years of fruitless war have turned off even desperate Central Americans from signing up in exchange for citizenship. When killed their figures never show up as they're not counted as official US dead. Imagine the stress of combat a bipolar Sarge in an isolated obs post with 4 squaddies and 2 prisoners-what will happen? 1 Like |

jakeporeshenko: South Africa and Iran have had very close relations over the years. We were one of a handful of countries to vote against their sanctions. I believe we even stopped buying crude oil from them at the very last possible moment. Hence if no one else was to go out of their way to block transactions, huge military deals are in the pipeline between SA and Iran. I personally approve of it. Our military co-operation with Israel died a long time ago, so they can go jump. 1 Like |

jln115: G-A-S-S-S-P-P!? Did you just ask that question, for real!? There's a very well known underlying violence in homo behaviour that many say is part of the pathology. That's why most serial killers are homos: Donald Harvey claimed 37 victims in Kentucky;http://www.familyresearchinst.org/2009/02/violence-and-homosexuality/ This is why world wide all groups with a history of interpersonal violence have much higher rates of homoism than normal. Look at the Turks,Arabs,Greeks,Romans,Mughals or the Brits. Btw,why was Terre'blanche found dead with his pants down? The Pathans are famous for long running feuds and murder and yet have are notorious boy lovers. An unclassified study from a military research unit in southern Afghanistan details how homosexual behavior is unusually common among men in the large ethnic group known as Pashtuns -- though they seem to be in complete denial about it.http://www.foxnews.com/politics/2010/01/28/afghan-men-struggle-sexual-identity-study-finds.html IIRC Kenyans serving with the USMC in Afghanistan flocked the largest forum at the time, mashada saying how often they found men abed with boys when they busted in homes during night time raids. Look up bachi baaz, goddammit! I know Saffas are super liberal oozing with love for all Gods kids;but trust me;homos shouldn't be within walking distance of any unit. My dude, what if he's interrogating some enemy and is overcome by rectal urges? Must I draw a picture? 3 Likes

Algerian1: You are either a big liar or just a poor reader of simple statements. Quote the page where I personally said Sudan has received su-35. I simply posted published news reports of the delivery that is on many news media, and I also said clearly that if those reports are true, then su-35 makes Sudan next to Egypt in air power on the African continent, that is what I said, go back to page 1522 and see it. Also quote where I said Sudan will bomb other Africans with su-35, I said air superiority, is that same as ground attack? Do you understand simple English? Yes some people here said I am derailing with Sudan su-35. The same South Africans who derail this thread everyday with deliberate and intentional off topic posts about European and Asian military, and post photos of people on their streets, climate in their towns and cities, same people writing here "Stop posting African countries buying weapons, let us go back to posting photos." So the 'Nairaland rule of law' must be enforced on others after they repeatedly do wrong things everyday and always go free? Judge others, excuse themselves is a bad way of life, and you are pretending you dont see it, anybody who says this hypocrisy is not happening here, he is a hypocrite himself. If I post what a country wants to buy, it's a pointer for people to hunt for the photos as soon as it is available. I don't see that as derailment. Who told you I am excited about Sudan? I just post current information and I analysed it a bit, everybody here does that many times, so what did I do that others have not done here? Face-less unknown Sudanese people speaking from their houses on internet forums are not a superior source of info on Sudan su-35 news, the president of Sudan speaking to Russian government newspaper is superior to all the internet forum bloggers you are using as authority to challenge what official government sources say, yet you want me to dump those credible newspapers and follow your forum sources of unidentified people. Sorry to ask, do you even think at all? I mean no insult. I told you not to sit at home and judge what Morocco or Sudan will buy or not buy, because you dont control those countries, King of Morocco decides if Morocco will buy s-300 SAM, President of Sudan decides if Sudan buys su-35, that is common sense reasoning which is hard for you to accept, you want to speak as authority for countries you do not rule over as if you own them and control their national budgets. Posting Morocco's photos here does not make you Morocco's friend, I post Sudan photos here but I dislike Sudan like shiit because of their terrorist agenda and oppression of black Christians, only an ignorant person thinks posting a country's photos means you love that country. The bitter invasion war and killing of thousands of Algerians by Morocco will never be erased from the hearts of Algerians. Same way South African blacks are now in the same military, same houses, same government, same offices, with their former white oppressors, yet the people still live with the bitterness in their hearts because of past atrocities of apartheid. Only a fool thinks human hearts have delete button for erasing past evil. I dont mean to be hard on you or make a quarrel, but you all must stop trying to control what I can post or not post, if you dont believe the news media source, it's your personal choice. I don't want to fight anybody and I dont want this thread spoiled with arguments that start when some people want to silence the voice of others just because they dont like him, his comments are not interesting to them, or it does not make them sleep well at night. Thanks. Peace and goodwill from me to you.

newafricaken254:I had been alittlebit concerned about how/if KDF handles ptsd for soldiers who have been in battle and seen the things , it's good to see there is a policy in place, we don't want to see increased situations where highly trained operatives go rogue esp in this country where soldiers don't get properly 'thanked' or compensated or honoured for their sacrifices https://www.standardmedia.co.ke/article/2000139678/soldiers-kin-desperately-wait-for-compensation?_e_pi_=7%2CPAGE_ID10%2C8029379836 |

kikuyu1:DAMN!! I was about to go all liberal on you until I read this, and actually realised how true it is, I remember watching a documentary about the worst prisons in South Africa, and now that I think about it, the most violent and notorious convicts there were well known for committing homosexual acts, the worst part is that many on them denied the fact that their actions were homosexual and referred to the guy who was getting raped and paid for sex as the one who is homosexual, and they called them women, but the rapist still considered themselves as straight men. It's similar to the stories I read about how spartans use to promote sexual relationships between men and the younger boys they were training, it was said it helped strengthen trust and their bond. So I think you're right, I wouldn't feel safe or comfortable having such people, in a warzone... Unless it's in a place like Okinawa during WWII where soldiers had free reign to kill. 1 Like |

Earlier today in northern Namibia a bunch of community members attempted to “oust” the Local Authority, however the Police Special Reserve Force and the security guards guarding the office managed to disperse the mob and keep them out the premises.

ActivateKruger: My observation: Fancy hi-tech grenade launchers are neither fantastic in combat nor game changer weapons. Nigerian army used them very much against Boko Haram for many years but the weapons did not do well against Toyota anti-aircraft terrorist gunners. Nigeria owns more grenade launchers than any army on this continent and has more real war experience of using grenade launchers more than any other country in modern times COIN war. Every African army in volatile regions must have 800 Toyota truck mounted small anti-aircraft guns in the third photo, if you dont want your military academy brigadier generals to be disgraced by illiterate insurgents. A word is enough for the wise, focus on the message, ignore who the messenger is, or else you suffer for it. 1 Like
