Wow !! After so many centuries of humiliation and loss of dignity the black man is still subjected to all manner of ill treatment by the same people who brought them Jesus Christ of Nazareth and Mohamed of Arabia.

The joke is on us still - Until we build our own society and clean up our own houses we will continue to be disgraced, humiliated and insulted at every turn around the world.

Shame on us all.

On the contrary I think the Don would have been most proud.

He hated stupid persons who took very stupid risks without weighing the odds.

Quit blabbing and take correction . How many places are illegal immigrants treated in such inhumane way? Wat ever happened to deportation and imprisonment ? Like the guy rightly said stop justifying acts like this. It's as if u r trying to say it's okay to kill someone at the spot if he stole afterall he is guilty
see harsh as it may sound. Condemn as much as you want to. That guy has said that all. There are mishaps that go with illegal immigration. As long as people will not follow law and order, this is just one of the things they will experience. You can't stop it till people migrate the right way.

You think if these people had a better standard of living they wouldn't stay? A lot of them are just looking for greener pastures. This is what happens when the Government fails to provide its citizens with even the most basic of needs
Nigeria is hard for us all. Why didn't you find your way across the Sahara? Because you're sane. Your head is on your shoulders.

where is the justification? Were the victims kidnapped from their homes? This will be hard to stop because your brother keep travelling to Libya by the day.

So as long as the victims were not kidnapped from there homes the people who were sold deserved to be sold. It's only bad if the victims were kidnapped from their homes? undecided

They should stop it, If they don't want illegal migrants send them back, but not sell a human being like you into slavery, torture, mutilate a fellow human being because of excuses like he crossed here illegally.

so because I am a nigerian it affects me... how? When I dey my house. Who are the they? Mention them. Have you ever heard of cartels. There will always be bad people. We can avoid being victims, it takes a little common sense... this is what is lacking. Have you heard of boko haram, Isis, Al qeeda? There will always be bad people. Avoid being their victims simple!

I guess it's someone who tried to run. Arabs call Africans Hayawan whigh means animal. People who go to work for them come back with the tales.

The Quran encourages slavery and gives them authority to punish their slaves as they want. And don't think you will run to their government for help. The government will hand you back to your killer employers swiftly.

These migrants should start travelling with weapons. If they have to.

It is always going to be someone's else fault.

When will black people start fending for themselves?

Tell me any non-black nation that will let Apapa wharf road remain as it is for years? Blame such on Obama too.

It's not in your place nor mine to tell captors how to treat their captives. And I think such thing would send a serious message to those planning such adventure.

You think because Nigeria is this stupid and lawless so people from Benin, Niger, Cameroon and other neighboring countries just come and go anyhow without checking them..

Obummer was the worst thing to have happened to the black race.
The guy was a terrible disaster. The half-breed buffoon who couldn't even manage his teenage daughters was allowed to manage the affairs of the most powerful country in the globe that polices the world.

I spit on the buffoon. Even Kenyans dissociate themselves from him today.

it's not all about Buhari reacting on it or not. It's all about creating awareness on the dangers of illegal migration to another country. It's about man inhumanity to another. It's about Afrians treating themselves like shit. So get a grip

In as much as its horrible and deplorable, I wonder what triggers them to run away from the better environment they are into the fangs of the murderers, smugglers or hostile demons that have no regard for life.

You are here with your life in one piece. You embark on a journey at a cost of money and life to eventually be deported back. What sense is there in the option. They watch and hear on end without learning from the horrific experience of others.Tomorrow they save up 500k or 1mil to still walk that route of death.

The options back home are never worse or close to what they go through in the hands of the Libyans or smugglers. The only comparison would have been running away from war in your country in any. As for FFK comments, it's not all about the president. The problem is everywhere now from the individual to the culprits. It didn't start today and I doubt if the president did speak, it would change anything. Moreover, what Will he do? Call the Libyan government which is none existent or will he place sanctions on Libya. Probably ask every citizen if they want travel to Libya?

People need to start using their heads to stop this madness and stop such from happening to them. At the end the survivors come back thanking God they were better off in Nigeria or their respective countries.Yet people never stop trying to endanger there life. What are the chances of making it? with what I see every day, its near 0% than 100%.

What FKK is showing is just small compared to the much out there and the plenty tales people give. The migrants enrich the smugglers who never care about them and will keep pushing them on to die or be humiliated/mutilated.

Africans need to rise up and do what is right!! AU can take over that country for a start and help them establish a government. Nigeria can't do it alone. African nations need to rise up and curb the continuous migration at there respective borders. Also, the smugglers need to be dealt with to stop the enticement.

Sad sooooo sad !!! RIP to the many who have died in this worthless self-exodus and mad migration.May God help the others in slavery, detentions, rape or torture overcome the situation.

I don tire for this migrant matter....undecided undecided
What better environment ? where is the better environment ? Try and sit down with one of these people and you'll just find out how much damage this continent and country has done to her people's dignity and self respect. You have no idea what folks are going through emotionally ,psychologically and mentally until you find yourself in their shoes , have a little taste of their world or experience it even in your comfortable corner.

African countries/Government/Leaders have failed their people and it's not just everyone that has what it takes to survive the ordeal - Many have made irrational decisions and paid the ultimate price - They deserve our compassion because it is simple : No animal how much more a human will leave a comfort zone to risk it all even when they are aware of the price to pay for it. Brother ,it is called FRUSTRATION , EMPTINESS , THEY SEE NO FUTURE and many will go this way until we clean up our own house with our hands.
