Former Bosnia-Croatian military leader Slobodan Praljak 72 has committed suicide in the court at Hague.

After losing his appeal at the International Criminal Tribunal which had earlier sentenced him to 20 years in jail for his involvement with six other politicians in a campaign to drive Muslims out of a would-be Bosnia Croatia mini state in Bosnia in the early 1990s.

He yelled in the court 'I am not a war criminal!' and drank a substance from a small bottle and has since died in the hospital.
